Entrepreneurship is often viewed in a simplified way and defined as the starting of new firms. There are obvious advantages in using this simplified definition, not least regarding measurement, but with such a definition there is also a great risk in missing important aspects of entrepreneurship and how it emerges and develops. This paper starts from an assumption that entrepreneurship can be divided in four different spheres and that these spheres interact and mutually affect each other. The four spheres of entrepreneurship are: - Economic entrepreneurship, which is manifesting itself in new enterprises and products, production, distribution and sales methods and organizations. - Civil entrepreneurship, in the form of new organizations and new activities in the civil society and human relations. - Political entrepreneurship, e.g. in the form of new types of policies, governance, decision-making and implementation processes. - Academic entrepreneurship, displayed in innovative research (new hypotheses, methods, applications, etc), collaboration with other actors and commercialization of results. It can be assumed that the four forms of entrepreneurship mutually are having impacts on each other, but that the directions of these impacts can vary. On the one hand it is possible that the four types of entrepreneurship show a mutually positive relationship, on the other hand it is just as possible that the different entrepreneurships might exclude each other as they compete for the engagement of a finite number of entrepreneurs in a region. This paper makes a first investigation of the four dimensions of entrepreneurship in Sweden and the connections between them and various measures of growth on municipality level.

This paper is divided into two parts, a theoretical and an empirical one and attempts to present Quality Management and the importance that it has in facing the international economic/ entrepreneurial competition. More particularly, in the first part of our paper are presented: -the significance of quality and main highlights of Total Quality Management -the history of Quality Management and the relevant literature (the theories of "guru" in the field of Total Quality Management, i.e. Edwards Deming, Joshep Juran, Philip Crosby, Kaoru Ishikawa and Armand Feingenbaum. Moreover, a special report is included in the work of Edwards Deming, as he is considered the father of Total Quality Management -the relations between customers / suppliers and the enterprises, the factors that add value in a product, and the importance of customer service is analyzed. The second part focuses on: -The significance of quality in the banking sector, and more specifically on the Model EFQM and its adoption by Hellenic Bank Public Company Ltd.-The highlighting of the structure of the aforementioned model, the levels of business excellence, the fundamental concepts for Quality Management and the RADAR method.-The case study of a greek bank and the achievement of the bank to be the first in the banking network in Greece that was honored with the "Committed to excellence" award on, -The research that was performed: in the above mentioned Bank with the use of questionnaires. This survey was supported by the nine criteria of EFQM Excellence Model. In the same chapter are presentated the conclusions on the changes in the philosophy of the bank by the adoption of model are indicated. in three banks with the use of questionnaires as well, and referred to customer services.

This research employs three statistical techniques to test the proposed hypotheses: exploratory factor analysis utilizing the principal component technique, multiple regression analysis, and multiple group path analysis. Factor analysis verifies a feasible factor structure within a given set of survey questions. Multiple regression analysis examines the relationships between the determinant factors and three dimensions of public entrepreneurship, as well as the relationships between three entrepreneurial activities and organizational performance. Lastly, multiple group path analysis analyzes the effects of determinants on organizational performance.
