There WILL be a royal wedding. The only question--who will be my groom? An arranged marriage isn't the worst fate for a princess like me. Especially because I've been in love with my intended groom since we were children. But when my prince shows up with an American girlfriend instead of an engagement ring, all arrangements are off. The clock is nearing midnight--I won't turn into a pumpkin, but if I'm not wed by summer's end, I'll forfeit my kingdom. Just your typical royal dilemma. Out of sheer desperation, I make a deal with a devilish duke. Rafe de Silva is the prince's rival and has a plan so ridiculous it just might work. One moment, Rafe seems to relish making the prince jealous. And the next... he's making me question everything with his words, his touch, and his ability to melt my Ice Princess persona. I'm not always given the luxury of choice, but now I have a huge one to make. I only hope I don't lose my crown, my heart, or myself in the process... Royally Rearranged is a sizzling, swoony, closed-door romantic comedy.

A collection of poetry."My deepest inner most thoughts, my escape and my lightness from the dark. A collection relating to death and sorrow and my ways of managing it. Search inside and you will find me."About the Author"I write my life on scraps of paper; sometimes I screw them both up."This is how Mack describes her work and there can be no doubt that her poetry explores some of our lowest and loneliest emotions. She looks at the lack of self-worth, hurt and confusion which she has felt and searches for possible reasons; her relationship with her father, subsequent relationships and her experience of bullying. But she also looks at those things which can provide light in an often dark world: "My children are what hold me together now. I live each day just to hear them say I love you."Her honest prose can find resonance in all our pasts and hearts and this is where her sharing can give encouragement and hope to others. As she writes: "As a teenager I learnt writing was my escape, it kept me from going mad, so every time I feel down or upset I write; I never thought my words would want to be read or could help someone, but now I just hope that my words can touch someone and make them realise they are not alone with their thoughts."

Numbering My Days written by Chene Heady and has been published by Ignatius Press this book supported file pdf, txt, epub, kindle and other format this book has been release on 2016 with Religion categories.

Chene Heady was a believing Catholic whose daily concerns were shaped primarily by forces other than his faith--career demands, financial decisions, scheduling conflicts, etc. He worked long hours and had limited regular interaction with his wife, also a busy professional, and his young daughter. He was the typical overextended and anonymous modern Catholic man. Then he tried an experiment that dramatically rearranged his life. After reading about the importance of the Church's liturgical year, Heady took up the challenge to live as though the Church's calendar, not the secular one, stood at the center of his life. Every day for a year, he observed the Church's seasons and feasts, and meditated on the Church's daily readings. As he did so, he found that his life, and his relationships, became more meaningful and fruitful. Numbering My Days tells the story of one man's renewal, and it offers an authentic model of spiritual development for anyone.

Poems With A Message written by Ray Lohman and has been published by AuthorHouse this book supported file pdf, txt, epub, kindle and other format this book has been release on 2020-09-28 with Poetry categories.

You will enjoy this book of poems, each written by Mr. Lohman, to provide good feelings on an event you have recognized or will recognize at some point in your life. The poems include messages about nature, family, reflections on life, sports and even politics. Mr. Lohman, being a Christian, often included the potential involvement of God in these events. The last small group of poems describes the thoughts an 89 year old might have about approaching the hereafter. This, he speaks from personal experience. Many of the poems are structured in the pleasing sonnet format and its enjoyable rhythm. A second characteristic of Mr. Lohman’s writing was the use of rhyming when appropriate. This rhyming rhythm, enhanced by selected comma use, made writing poetry mentally challenging, but always left a good feeling about the message. The poems included here were all produced in the last 24 months of Mr. Lohman’s life, following his family’s recovery from a major disaster; Hurricane Harvey, in August, 2017, destroyed the entire interior of their home. However, these poems represent, not two years, but a lifetime of experiences, thoughts and observations he has encountered during his 89 years. Clearly, in many instances, his thoughts included messages led by God, to whom he gives all the credit for this book of poems.

I had no idea what to do with myself when I lost my best friend. I started thinking about what could have been, and that led to me discovering my love for poetry. I was finally able to get it all out in a creative and organized manner. I soon discovered that poetry made me feel better about whatever my writing was referencing, so I used it as a method of healing until I eventually created enough art to make a full collection. However, I refused to stop there. I wanted her story and mine to be shared with the world, and now, my dreams have come to fruition. This collection took me three months to write, and I am so grateful for those three months of nonstop creativity. This collection highlights my life during those three months and a little bit of my life before my world came crashing down.

"Magnificent" (The Sunday Times)-a fascinating portrait of one of the great love affairs of show business and a compelling account of a woman coming into her own Siân Phillips and Peter O'Toole were one of the theater's most fabulous couples-a marriage perhaps rivaled only by that of Richard Burton and Elizabeth Taylor in terms of glamour, power, and public fascination. In her exceptional memoir, Phillips reveals in thoughtful detail their tumultuous life together. She describes the mad and impulsive times with the infamous hellraiser alongside the tempestuous, insecure, and often lonely periods in their marriage. When O'Toole's career took off with Lawrence of Arabia, Siân found life increasingly difficult in her parallel roles as wife, mother, and actress, and watched as her own career became progressively sidelined. Against all expectations, though, their union endured for twenty years. When it ended, incredibly, even to herself, Siân plunged straight into another marriage, to a much younger man. Ultimately she emerges alone-triumphant and unrepentant-and the story she recounts here ranks alongside the very best in show business.
