The Freedom Of The Christian written by Martin Luther and has been published by New Reformation Publications this book supported file pdf, txt, epub, kindle and other format this book has been release on 2020-10-15 with Religion categories.

The Freedom of the Christian was Martin Luther's first public defense of the doctrine of justification by grace through faith on account of Christ alone. Luther's explosive rediscovery of the Gospel of Jesus Christ shattered the Church of Rome's foundation of works, which considered good works a part of salvation instead of a result of it. Here, Luther constructed a rich theology that relies on the full power of the Gospel, which not only grants saving faith but also nurtures that faith through good works done in the freest service. This new abridged translation from Adam Francisco, featuring a brief essay from Scott Keith, leaves no doubt that the Christian, secure in Christ, is truly free—free from sin, death, and the devil, and free to serve their neighbor.

Kommunikation Als Lebenskunst written by Bernhard Pörksen and has been published by Carl-Auer Verlag this book supported file pdf, txt, epub, kindle and other format this book has been release on 2016-12-01 with Psychology categories.

Warum funktionieren Kommunikationsrezepte nie? Was bedeutet Schweigen?

Growing Up At 37 written by Jerry Rubin and has been published by Rowman & Littlefield this book supported file pdf, txt, epub, kindle and other format this book has been release on 2014-03-03 with Biography & Autobiography categories.

Jerry Rubin, co-founder of the Yippie movement and a member of the Chicago Seven, traces his personal odyssey from radical activist of the 60’s to a practitioner in the growth potential movements of the 70’s—'Working to change in me the things I opposed externally in the streets.' Finding himself categorized by the press as ‘erstwhile’ and ‘aging’ at thirty-four and oppressed by his own lack of inner peace, Jerry Rubin turned his energy inward, seeking a self redefinition through various forms of New Consciousness. Growing (Up) at Thirty-Seven is a very personal and candid account of his experiences with est, rolfing, acupuncture and other forms of therapy—a unique journey to self awareness in which he tells of the person he was and the person he has become; how the originator of the slogan ‘Kill Your Parents!’ finally learned to love his own parents; and how his new personal philosophy relates to his political views. This is a sensitive psychological self-evaluation—a male confessional that lays bare Jerry Rubin’s struggle to find himself as a man in the aftermath of the aborted Youth Revolution.

Joseph Conrad And The Fiction Of Autobiography written by Edward W. Said and has been published by Columbia University Press this book supported file pdf, txt, epub, kindle and other format this book has been release on 2008-01-08 with Literary Criticism categories.

Edward W. Said locates Joseph Conrad's fear of personal disintegration in his constant re-narration of the past. Using the author's personal letters as a guide to understanding his fiction, Said draws an important parallel between Conrad's view of his own life and the manner and form of his stories. The critic also argues that the author, who set his fiction in exotic locations like East Asia and Africa, projects political dimensions in his work that mirror a colonialist preoccupation with "civilizing" native peoples. Said then suggests that this dimension should be considered when reading all of Western literature. First published in 1966, Said's critique of the Western self's struggle with modernity signaled the beginnings of his groundbreaking work, Orientalism, and remains a cornerstone of postcolonial studies today.
