Der zügig voranschreitende technologische Wandel bewirkt mitunter sektorale und berufliche Strukturveränderungen. Der Wandel zur wissens– und informationsbasierten Wirtschaft hat wiederum Auswirkungen auf die verstärkte Nachfrage an qualifizierten und gut ausgebildeten Fachkräften. Die Zielsetzung der vorliegenden Arbeit ist, zunächst die Stärken und Schwächen mittelständischer Personalpolitik zu identifizieren und Herausforderungen der externen Unternehmensumwelt zu analysieren. Damit sollen fundierte Handlungsfelder mit dem Fokus auf die Rekrutierung von Auszubildenden für die Umsetzung in mittelständischen Unternehmen identifiziert werden.
