Inhaltsangabe:Einleitung: Das Ziel der vorliegenden Arbeit besteht darin, die Motivation zum Erlernen der polnischen bzw. deutschen Sprache im binationalen-bilingualen Zweig des Augustum-Annen-Gymnasiums Görlitz zu erforschen sowie die Motivation im Sachfachunterricht mit bilingualen Modulen. Bilingualer Unterricht findet heutzutage immer mehr Zuspruch. Mit dieser Arbeit soll aufgezeigt werden, welche Einstellung die deutschen/polnischen Schüler zum binat.-biling. Bildungszweig haben und inwieweit die Kontakte zu Polen bzw. Deutschland einen Einfluss auf die Sprachwahl hatten. Im Weiteren soll untersucht werden, wie die Schüler selbst als Teilnehmende ihren Unterricht beurteilen, welche Schwierigkeiten der bilinguale Sachfachunterricht mit sich bringt und welche Vorteile sie darin sehen. Darüber hinaus sollte in Erfahrung gebracht werden, ob bilingualer Unterricht auch das Verhalten und Interessen der Schüler beeinflusst, sie beispielsweise dazu ermutigt, Kontakte mit polnischen/deutschen Gleichaltrigen zu suchen oder polnische/deutsche Medien zu nutzen. Im Blick auf das gemeinsame Lernen der deutschen und polnischen Schüler in einem Klassenzimmer war für diese Studie auch von Interesse, welchen Einfluss dieser Faktor auf die Einstellungen der anderen gegenüber ausübt. Die vorliegende Arbeit besteht aus sieben Kapiteln, wobei das erste und das letzte Kapitel der Einleitung bzw. der Zusammenfassung vorbehalten sind. Der Einleitung ist das Vorwort vorangestellt. Im zweiten Kapitel werden bildungspolitische Rahmenbedingungen für das Erlernen von Fremdsprachen sowie verschiedene Aspekte der Vermittlung von Mehrsprachigkeit in Grenzregionen (das Nachbarsprachenmodell) erörtert. Das 3. Kapitel stellt eine komprimierte Skizze der Entwicklung und Struktur der bilingualen Bildungsangebote in Deutsch-Polnischem Kontext dar. Der theoretische Teil zur Bildungspolitik, unter besonderer Berücksichtigung der Grenzregion Görlitz erklärt, weswegen es bilinguale Bildungsgänge überhaupt gibt. Schwerpunkt des Theorieteils ist das darauf folgende Kapitel zur Motivationsforschung, in dem sowohl unterschiedliche Motivationskonzeptionen für den Fremdsprachenunterricht als auch Motivationen der Lerner für die Verwendung einer Fremdsprache im Sachfachunterricht in Bezug auf verschiedene Fachliteratur analysiert werden.
