This book is a collection of poems of the Lord, love, life, and the tragedies that various hurricanes brought (namely Katrina and Gustav). I have a feeling that those storms, other hurricanes, and different trying seasons will be the subjects of some future poems. "...this book of hymns...is too anointed to be simply called a book of poetry. Never did I imagine that I would be so blessed by reading this precious book. God has moved through Mark Y. Kim and you will certainly be moved by this powerful work." Rev. Chaz Howard, University Chaplain of the University of Pennsylvania, Editor of Souls of Poor Folk Mark Y. Kim is a dream keeper, through his collection of poems in Never Did I Imagine. He works hard at his dream-the dream to reach the "I am finally free" state. He does not wish, however, to arrive there by himself; he wants to take those of us, who have "voided hearts," to meet the person who can fill the void and make us complete. That's why he declares, "Together, they will compose a melody-one of eternal harmony." Daniel Hong, academic advisor at C2 education Mark Y. Kim was born on November 29, 1977. He was born on an American army base in Seoul, Korea. However, the base was on America soil, so he is a citizen of the United States. He lived in Houston, Texas until he turned three years old and grew up in Baltimore, Maryland. After a disabling brain injury in Washington, DC, he moved to Kenner, Louisiana, a Katrina-ravaged town fifteen minutes outside of New Orleans, Louisiana and has established himself as a poet The move has made him a stronger Christian and better person.

I Can T Imagine written by Emilia Quinn Sears and has been published by AuthorHouse this book supported file pdf, txt, epub, kindle and other format this book has been release on 2021-08-20 with Religion categories.

When we come across a happy narrative, we love imagining ourselves living out that story as the main character, yet, when faced with tales of human pain or suffering, we often awkwardly shy away, offer quick condolences, and say “I Can’t Imagine”. Human nature is to relish success, whimsy, and tales of happy endings. But, by avoiding those “other” stories, the painful and uncomfortable ones, we often miss out on some of life’s most important lessons. I Can’t Imagine is one of those “other” stories that will take readers through a powerful journey about a micro-preemie named Emilia Quinn Sears, who was born during a pandemic, at only 22-weeks-old, weighing just over 1 pound, with the odds of survival stacked against her. Inspired by her parents’ personal journals, passionately written to Baby Emilia, this book will take you on an epic journey of loss, love, and resilience. By the end, you will be able to imagine what it is like to fight for your child’s survival in the NICU, ultimately losing your battle and subsequently watching your world get destroyed. You will also experience the beautiful lessons and raw power of purpose that can arise from some of the worst things anyone can imagine.

I have read many books and have seen many movies that all begin with “This is based on a true story,” and many times I have wondered why they would say that. To be based on a true story means something is false and added in. This story is my story and is told by me. This story is not based on a true story at all; this is a true story —Emil E-Fetti Nnani Imagine is a story of a young man born into a life that he doesn’t deserve. A story of a young man who was dealt the cards of life, cards which no man would be willing to play. A story of a young man who has lost all hope in life, so he was forced to create his own life in his imagination. Imagine starts off telling us about Emil’s childhood. Every detail is explained. Emil’s childhood was terrible, horrible, and overall, his childhood was unbelievable. He used everything around him in his childhood to his benefit, which helped fuel his imagination of a better world and a better life. Both of his parents are from Africa. His dad abandoned him; his mom was snatched away from him and tossed in prison. He stood alone. At times he thought even his God left him and he was left only with his imagination. He was a child with an incredible imagination, which took him to be a king in the eyes of his peers. He got involved with the wrong crowd, gangs, guns, girls, drugs, and the law. Surrounded by prayers from his mother and pastor but not caring about his life, he went to serve time in prison like his mom. Life was hard for him, and it only got harder. After barely surviving in prison, he was released with hopes of changing and living a better life, but things never turn out as we plan them. His imagination kept him alive in the streets of Raleigh and kept him breathing behind those prison gates, but the straw that finally broke the camel’s back was when his imagination was put to the test.

Descartes Meditations On First Philosophy written by René Descartes and has been published by Agora Publications, Inc. this book supported file pdf, txt, epub, kindle and other format this book has been release on 2012-09-07 with Philosophy categories.

· René Descartes is often described as the first modern philosopher, but much of the content of his Meditations on First Philosophy can be found in the medieval period that had already existed for more than a thousand years. Does God exist? If so, what is his nature? Is the human soul immortal? How does it differ from the body? What role do sense experience and pure reason play in knowing? Descartes stands out from his predecessors because of the method he developed to treat these and other fundamental questions. Drawing on his study of mathematics, he searches for a way to establish absolutely certain conclusions based on indubitable premises. His importance in modern philosophy lies in the challenge he offers to every subsequent thinker in philosophy and science.

Imagine The Life You D Love To Live Then Live It written by Peg Conley and has been published by Simon and Schuster this book supported file pdf, txt, epub, kindle and other format this book has been release on 2014-11-17 with Body, Mind & Spirit categories.

Peg Conley has been an artist all her life but, like many of us, took a long detour into the working world where she was a "corporate sales queen" in Seattle with a lot of success and a happy, busy family. Art became the thing she did on vacations, weekends and when she could carve time out of her busy life. Something gnawed at her, a nagging feeling that life might hold something else for her in the midst of it all. Then came the big "aha" moment—Peg heard a still small voice inside: "Imagine the life you want to live, then live it. It's that simple!" Her family encouraged Peg to pursue her passion. Despite a great deal of fear, Peg Conley did the thing she thought she could not do and dropped her big job, big house and big life and moved to San Francisco to start a business based on her artisan stationery. From a handful of handpainted cards, calendars and posters, her company Words & Watercolors was born and has been inspiring people, winning awards and raking in the sales ever since. Peg's intention with her work is to inspire and her art and writing all speak to life's great truths and those aha moments for which we all need reminders. What do you “imagine” your Ideal Life to be? It may take some time for it to unveil itself. You will need to have an idea of what it is you are looking to create. Spend some time in contemplation. For some that means a quiet meditation where images might come to you. For others, you might write about something you’ve always had a longing to create, or a dream that seemed far away and not attainable yet it doesn’t go away. The dream nudges at you, asking you to pay attention. Where words work for some people, pictures work for others. You may want to create a vision board. Gather your old magazines and begin ripping out the pictures that appeal to you, or draw your own images. Your Ideal Life will come alive via the images that resonate with you. Don’t hesitate to pick up a pen, pencil or crayons even and fill the blank pages with doodles of any kind. Do you still think of becoming a nurse? Don’t be disheartened, go online and research classes you can take at your local college to start the process. As someone once said, if you don’t start now, 5 years from now you still will be where you are but if you begin with baby steps, in 5 years you could be in a completely different place! So ask yourself the question: “What does the life I long to live look like?” Imagine it! Draw it, write it, collage it and just plain dream it. Believe you can have it and then go about creating it as you take daily steps towards becoming an enhanced version of yourself! All successful people are big dreamers. They imagine what their future could be, ideal in every respect, and then they work every day toward their distant vision, that goal or purpose.

Driven by Kundalini by Hana Rubinstejnova is uncovering an honest, detailed and very personal account of a powerful spiritual experience of the author herself during and after a 10 day silent meditation retreat. There are not many books written by people who had their own powerful and life changing experience with spontaneous Kundalini Awakening & Rising. This book is different from other books on this topic because it is a very indepth description of the whole experience itself and also of it's after effects when the experience didn't go 'according to plan'. This book has been written to empower others and to shed so much needed light on this still rather mystical subject. Qualifications of the Author: Hana Rubinstejnova is qualified to write this book mainly by her own personal experience with Kundalini. Her professional qualifications: Certified Life Coach, NLP Master Practitioner & Trainer and Psychosomatic Therapist.
