This is that journey which can only be made on the narrow path to life which Jesus spoke of, and of which He solemnly warned that few Christians would find. The book projects the Christian life as the protracted journey that it is, not a single life-changing incident somewhere in one’s past. Focusing on areas of deep confusion and deception in the Church, it takes a candid and profound, but practical look at those doctrines which are so fundamental to the Christian life, and which form practical landmark pillars along that journey - salvation, justification, the new birth, sanctification, perfection and glorification.
