Ursprünglich war das so nicht geplant, denn diese Geschichte hatte ich nur für mich aufgeschrieben und dabei mit keiner Silbe daran gedacht, sie mit jemand zu teilen. Diese Idee kam erst später, wuchs gewissermaßen mit dem erfolgreichen Überwinden der Sucht. Die letzte Bestätigung, die mich dann dazu ermutigte, meine Aufzeichnungen zu veröffentlichen, waren die verwunderten Worte meiner Frau beim Lesen: Wow, ich hätte gar nicht gedacht, dass es so schwer ist, aufzuhören! Ist es wahrlich, und für Menschen, die nie geraucht haben, obendrein kaum zu verstehen. Aber glaube mir, ab dem Punkt, an dem du erkennst, dass du nur gewinnst und echt nichts aufgibst, wird es für dich leichter. Die bessere Lebensqualität beschränkt sich dann nicht mehr auf 10 bis 20 x 4 Minuten Rauch pro Tag.
