No Shame, No Blame is an account of my life when I was between the ages of five and eight. I give personal accounts of my relationship with my grandmother, who was the most influential person in my life at that time. I give insight into lessons learned from those experiences of time gone by. The book also gives personal accounts of sibling rivalry, the death of my grandmother, and sexual abuse. I always offer suggestions and insights into each story. As a parent myself, I am always looking for a better way to parent. The title of the book is important to note, because I do not feel shame, nor do I blame anyone for the mistakes that where made. I choose to forgive, and not allow myself to be a victim. I hope that the book helps you discover something special about yourself.

This is an account of the author's work with addicted clients and their codependent families in recovery from addiction, as well as an exploration of the excessive shame, guilt, fault, blame, and excuses that go along with it. What worked for them can surely apply to us all, even if our stories might not be quite as extreme. ?Tell me a story? is not just for children to say. Read these stories for yourself, and appreciate the wisdom and guidance that can come from practical application of truth that fits everyone's story. ?In the beginning was the Word, ? was said by the Apostle John, as the opening statement in his record of the Christ. ?In the beginning was the Story? would not be a bad translation either.

No Blame, No Shame, No Guilt encompasses the experiences of a young Black woman from the United States who travels to Africa. Though surrounded by natural beauty, she realizes the harsh realities of racism and examines the long-term implications of colonization in Southern and Eastern Africa. Through the form of short stories and poetry, the author exposes readers to the different racial relations present within each story and allows readers to draw their own conclusions about the effects of White supremacy in Africa. Her only request is that the readers consider what they know about history and current events and reflect on how they have contributed positively or negatively to the racial dynamics that exist within society. Who is to be blamed for the gross discrepancies we see and experience? Who should feel shame for the perpetuation of colonial ideals? Who is guilty for the disproportionate physical and mental brutality invoked against Black bodies worldwide? By no means should the narrator be the only learner in this situation. Tremendous learning can take place in this journey if you allow it. No Blame. No Shame. No Guilt.

"No Blame, No Shame: Living an Empowered Life" After Divorce is a transformative guide written specifically for women who have been married for 20 or more years and are now navigating the challenging waters of life post-divorce. This book is a beacon of hope, empowerment, and practical wisdom, offering a roadmap to not just survive but thrive after such a significant life transition. I wrote "No Blame, No Shame" in a conversational style rather than an academic tone, making the content more accessible and relatable. This approach allows readers to feel as if they're having a personal conversation with a friend who understands their experiences and challenges. By using everyday language and sharing personal anecdotes, I ensure that the advice and insights are easy to understand and apply to their own lives. Divorce after a long marriage can feel like the end of the world. The identity you've known for decades is suddenly altered, and the future may seem uncertain. This book embraces the philosophy of "No Blame, No Shame," encouraging women to release the guilt and self-recrimination that often accompanies the end of a marriage. By letting go of the blame game, you can begin to see divorce not as a failure but as an opportunity for a new beginning. Throughout the book, I share my personal journey, including the struggles, mistakes, and triumphs. My story is one of transformation-from feeling lost and overwhelmed by the end of my marriage to finding strength, independence, and a renewed sense of self-worth. These stories are not just anecdotes; they serve as living proof that it is possible to rebuild and create a fulfilling life after divorce. A key component of this book is the focus on mindset. Changing the way you think about your ex-husband, your marriage, divorce, your past, present, and future is crucial to taking control of your life. I explore various techniques for shifting your perspective, including positive affirmations, mindfulness practices, and cognitive restructuring. By altering your mindset, you can break free from negative thought patterns and empower yourself to make decisions that are in your best interest. Beyond emotional and psychological healing, "No Blame, No Shame" provides practical advice on handling the everyday challenges that come with divorce. These chapters are packed with actionable tips and step-by-step guidance on: 1. Managing your finances, creating a budget, and planning for your financial future. Whether you need to find a job, start a business, or invest wisely, this section offers simple advice to help you gain financial stability and independence. 2. Household Management: Taking care of a home on your own can be intimidating if you've never done it before. This section covers everything from basic repairs and maintenance to more significant projects, empowering you with the knowledge to keep your household running smoothly. 3. Self-Care and Well-being: Divorce can take a toll on your physical and mental health. This book emphasizes the importance of self-care, offering tips on maintaining a healthy lifestyle, managing stress, and finding joy in everyday life. 4. Building a Support System: No one should have to go through divorce alone. The book stresses the importance of building a support system, whether it's through friends, family, or support groups. I share strategies for finding and cultivating these relationships so you feel supported and understood during this transition. 5. Embracing Your New Identity: "No Blame, No Shame" encourages you to embrace your new identity. Divorce is not the end; it's a chance to rediscover who you are and reinvent your life.
