Depois de tentar revisar e colocar as centenas de vírgulas que faltam, consertar alguns verbos e “desinventar” algumas palavras, além da total e determinada recusa da Joaninha convenci-me que ela estava certa e eu errado como todos os adultos que se metem a escrever historinhas para crianças com linguagem de gente grande. Joaninha é isso aí que encontraremos nas páginas seguintes, uma metralhadora disparando palavras em alta cadência com as vírgulas correndo atrás das frases sem alcançá-las, com as pausas só acontecendo quando o fôlego acaba. Uma menininha de olhos grandes olhando para vocês de baixo para cima e lançando um turbilhão de novidades e questionamentos que mais que respostas nos conduzem à reflexão. O que ela tem para dizer é sempre muito importante e inédito, como o tropeço na pedra que levantou a unha de seu dedão. Eu estava lá e pude presenciar o infausto acontecimento. O resto também é verdade e o Chapuço continua a morder gambás e ouriços como bem é descrito neste livro. Uma obra para ler e reler, pois como me disse a Joaninha, o bom do livro é que quando ele acaba continua cheio e a gente pode ler de novo... Uma boa leitura –e releitura- a todos. (O vô da Joaninha). E a própria Joaninha quis explicar melhor: . Meu livro que é esse livro que você está lendo vai se chamar O Alfabeto: Joaninha explica. Vai chamar porque ainda não foi publicado, estou escrevendo agora, mas se você está lendo é porque já chama. Eu coloquei Joaninha porque assim as crianças vão saber que sou eu e não a Dona Joana vizinha da minha avó que é grande aí as crianças podem não querer ler porque os grandes não sabem explicar direito. Se eles soubessem eu não precisaria escrever esse livro. Porque eu pensei assim, se os muito grandes não ensinam direito, eu escrevo um livro ensinando as crianças a aprenderem a ler sozinhas sem confusão e aí eu mostrei para minha mãe e ela falou: ai minha filha que gracinha, vai ser o maior sucesso! Eu fiquei contente e mostrei para meu pai e ele disse: muito bem, parabéns! E eu continuei contente e mostrei também para o meu avô que estava assistindo futebol na televisão e ele disse: tai uma boa ideia. Aí então eu mostrei para minha vó que é secona. Secona é quando a pessoa é seca, não fica melando a gente como com açúcar, como nossos pais tipo ai que gracinha, bilú bilú, que amor e tudo está bom. Mas a minha mãe fala que não é para chamar minha vó de secona, mas ela toda hora diz prô meu pai: minha mãe é secona. Minha mãe que ela fala é minha avó. Aí eu mostrei para minha vó. E ela disse secona: e como as crianças vão aprender a ler sozinhas no seu livro se elas não sabem ler? E eu não sabia o que falar, é mesmo! Então esse livro não é mais para as crianças grandes, é para os mais velhos que já sabem ler mas não sabem ensinar. Meu livro é para ensinar a ensinar. E minha vó disse assim meio secona: melhorou!
