Em 1964 a chanchada desaparecera do horizonte do cinema brasileiro e os nomes que dela fizeram parte viviam no ostracismo ou migraram para a televisão, enquanto uma nova linhagem de comédias seria delineada nos anos seguintes, com um erotismo ingênuo que iria desaguar na pornochanchada.
