Felietony, zamieszczone w tym tomiku to autentyczne, tryskające humorem, ironią, a niekiedy sarkazmem „perełki”. Podziwu godna jest spostrzegawczość autora, jego bezlitosna wprost dla wszelkiego lewactwa i innej głupoty logika. Czytelnik tej książki będzie niewątpliwie intelektualnie usatysfakcjonowany i „ubawiony”. Nie tylko jednak o zabawę tu chodzi. Otóż nie ulega wątpliwości, że niektóre z zamieszczonych w tej publikacji felietonów muszą obudzić w nas „lwa”. Prezentowane felietony zostały zebrane w końcowym okresie budowania ustroju współczesnej Polski, czyli na przełomie wieków i tysiącleci. Ponieważ ustrój ten kształtowany był w przededniu włączenia Polski w struktury Unii Europejskiej, ta perspektywa miała nań olbrzymi wpływ. Ustrój gospodarczy nie jest ani socjalistyczny, ani kapitalistyczny - łączy w sobie najgorsze cechy obu i w zasadzie żadnej pozytywnej. Jest etatystyczny i charakteryzuje się stałym rozrostem biurokracji. "Partnerstwo publiczno-prywatne", które zastąpiło typowy dla realnego socjalizmu system nakazowo-rozdzielczy - jest równie nieefektywne, drogie, a przede wszystkim korupcjogenne. Ustrój polityczny z kolei to hybryda, którą można określić mianem ochlokracji oligarchicznej.
