Olimpiada de Lingvistică. Ghid de pregătire reprezintă o lucrare unică și complexă, utilă atât pentru elevi, cât și pentru profesori, în vederea pregătirii pentru Olimpiada de Lingvistică din România. Acest ghid propune o structură clară a tipurilor de probleme folosite la Oimpiada de Lingvistică și prezintă, pe de-o parte, aspecte teoretice (concepte de bază în lingvistică, asociate cu nivelurile limbii, precum și noțiuni de tipologie a limbilor), și, pe de altă parte, aspecte practice (prin prezentarea propriu-zisă a unor puzzle-uri lingvistice). În acest fel, elevii vor învăța/înțelege concepte noi rezolvând probleme de lingvistică, iar profesorii vor putea exemplifica anumite noțiuni de gramatică pe baza unui corpus de exemple din limbi diferite. Este, astfel, o lucrare inedită prin inventarul bogat de limbi folosite în problemele propuse din fiecare capitol, precum și prin prezentarea implicită a unui model pedagogic, acela de «învățare bazată pe probleme» (Problem-based learning).”

Acest auxiliar didactic a obținut acordul Ministerului Educației pentru utilizarea extinsă la clasă în acord cu Metodologia-cadru privind reglementarea utilizării auxiliarelor didactice în unitățile de învățământ preuniversitar, aprobată prin OMEN nr. 5062/2017. În istoria scrisului, în general, putem face distincția între sisteme de scriere clasice și alte sisteme de scriere specifice. Prin sistemele de scriere clasice, ne referim la acele sisteme care sunt folosite în viața de zi cu zi pentru a transcrie o limbă vorbită, așa cum alfabetul latin este folosit pentru a transcrie limba română. Spre deosebire de acestea, există anumite sisteme de scriere limitate la o anumită categorie de persoane: sisteme pentru nevăzători, sisteme pentru surdomuți, sisteme de transcriere fonetică (utilizate, în principal, de lingviști), sisteme de tip Morse (utilizate predominant în telecomunicații, atât de personal specializat, cât și de radioamatori), sisteme de scriere prescurtată (folosite cu precădere de stenografi) sau altele. De asemenea, există și mai multe sisteme de criptare a mesajelor, acestea fiind folosite în special în scop militar. Printre acestea, cele mai cunoscute sunt cifrul Cezar, cifrul schitală, cifrurile Polybius și cifrul Playfair. Culegerea de față reunește aceste tipuri de scriere și încifrare, fiind gândită pentru cei care doresc să își dezvolte gândirea logică, abilitățile de identificare a soluțiilor, pentru cei dornici să descifreze mistere și coduri și pentru cei care vor să exerseze mai mult pentru diferitele tipuri de competiții lingvistice și logice.

This volume brings together contributions from leading specialists in syntax and morphology to explore the complex relation between periphrasis and inflexion from both a synchronic and diachronic perspective. The chapters draw on data from across the Romance language family, including standard and regional varieties and dialects. The relation between periphrasis and inflexion raises questions for both syntax and morphology, and understanding the phenomena involved requires cooperation across these sub-domains. For example, the components that express many periphrases can be interrupted by other words in a way that is common in syntax but not in morphology, and in some contexts, a periphrastic form may be semantically equivalent to a single-word inflected form, with which it arguably forms part of a paradigmatic set. Patterns of this kind are found across Romance, albeit with significant local differences. Moreover, diachrony is essential in understanding these phenomena, and the rich historical documentation available for Romance allows an in-depth exploration of the changes and variation involved, as different members of the family may instantiate different stages of development. Studying these changes also raises important questions about the relation between attested and reconstructed patterns. Although the empirical focus of the volume is on the Romance languages, the analyses and conclusions presented shed light on the development and nature of similar structures in other language families and provide valuable insights relevant to linguistic theory more broadly.
