Die Économie des conventions (EC) ist das erste erfolgreich etablierte wirtschaftssoziologische Paradigma, das in Frankreich aus einer Kooperation zwischen Wirtschaftswissenschaftlern und Soziologen entstanden ist. Den Hauptteil der Arbeit bilden die Kapitel vier und fünf.
