A presente obra foi desenvolvida no âmbito do Mestrado Profissional em Gestão e Avaliação da Educação Pública (PPGP) do Centro de Políticas Públicas e Avaliação da Educação da Universidade Federal de Juiz de Fora (CAEd/UFJF). A partir das evidências levantadas pelo caso de gestão, buscou-se compreender como a Célula de Desenvolvimento da Escola e da Aprendizagem (CEDEA), na Coordenadoria Regional de Desenvolvimento da Educação (CREDE 15), pode avançar na implementação do Projeto Professor aprendiz. Assim, estabeleceu-se a seguinte questão de pesquisa: como a CEDEA pode avançar na implementação do Projeto Professor Aprendiz na CREDE 15? Os objetivos propostos para a compreensão desse caso de gestão foram: i) descrever como ocorreu a implementação do Projeto Professor Aprendiz na CREDE 15; ii) analisar os desafios vivenciados na implementação do Projeto Professor Aprendiz; iii) propor um plano de ação que fortaleça a implementação do Projeto Professor Aprendiz na CREDE 15. Para tanto, adotamos como metodologia o estudo de caso com abordagem qualitativa, por se tratar de um fenômeno social inserido em um contexto real e possibilitar a interação com os envolvidos no processo para uma melhor descrição, interpretação e análise do caso.
