Entonces, la periodista, con una misteriosa ayuda, emprenderá un sin fin de aventuras, que le podrían costar la vida, para poder conocer al Jesús histórico. Esas aventuras la llevarán a conocer sectas judeo-cristianas que se creían extinguidas (como los seguidores de Juan el Bautista, los Nazoreos, los seguidores de María Magdalena, los seguidores de Santiago el Justo, hermano del Señor, etc...) También descubrirá evidencias arqueológicas que harán cambiar su visión sobre el Cristo Celestial que siempre le habían inculcado desde niña. De esa forma, conociendo cual fue su verdadera vida y muerte, intentará encontrar la desaparecida tumba y poder escribir así el que podría ser su mejor reportaje periodístico, pero su gran peligro serán los Servicios Secretos del Vaticano, dirigidos por el ala dura del Opus Dei, quienes no dudarán en eliminar cuantos peligros se interpongan para seguir ocultando la verdadera historia de Jesús de Nazaret. Prácticamente, toda la historia está ambientada en la conflictiva Tierra Santa, reflejando la tensa vida entre los judíos y los palestinos, escenificando así una de las más bonitas tierras las cuales, desgraciadamente, están malditas y condenadas a no conocer la paz.
