Our Family Story - The Beavers is a brief family genealogy and family history of the Beaver and Tolbert families who lived in Iredell County, North Carolina during the 20th century. The book includes the memoirs of two family members: Sallie Beaver Rimmer and Luther Ray Beaver. Luther's niece, Angela Beaver Simmons, compiled information from oral interviews with Luther and Sallie along with family history done by Sallie's husband Buford to form the text for this book. Angela added original family photos and documents from Luther and Angela's archives, newspaper clippings, a deed to the family farm, and a WWII ration book. Angela includes family tree graphics from her extensive family research housed within Ancestry.com. Beaver family members who wish to know a little more about where they came from and how their family lived during the early 20th century, would do well to get a copy of this book and hang onto it for their grandchildren.
