Abstract: "This paper reviews the parallel processing facilities of several Lisp dialects and considers their implementations on the BIDDLE system. Architectural extensions to BIDDLE to support such constructs are identified. The combination of the respective advantages of BIDDLE and Multilisp/Qlisp appears to be a promising way of achieving effective parallel Lisp systems."
