La condición juvenil contemporánea es posible pensarla desde su relación constitutiva con la acción colectiva. En esta relación hay una serie de elementos que son primordiales tales como la relacionalidad, el contexto socio-histórico en Latinoamérica (regido por la precariedad, el desencanto y la incertidumbre) y la comunicación, que se desarrolla en mediaciones, territorios y cuerpos. Sin embargo, además de dichos elementos centrales hay otras nociones y aproximaciones conceptuales que pueden aportar a la producción de conocimiento, desde el contexto latinoamericano, en torno a la condición juvenil contemporánea en su relación inherente con la acción colectiva y la comunicación. Este trabajo devela, en voz de sus propios actores, los jóvenes, sus vivencias, su sentir, la manera cómo construyen sus relaciones en un lugar de la ciudad que se han apropiado habitándolo desde el cual construyensu sentido del “nosotros”. En sus relatos dejan entrever mundos de vida atravesados por la familia, la escuela, los amigos y los otros con los que tejen relaciones, prácticas y consumos en el escenario urbano donde se congregan. Estas historias reflejan el descontento con una sociedad que los señala, que los rotula con etiquetas de violentos, adictos, desadaptados y desconoce las sensibilidades y las múltiples formas de ser joven. Su lucha por el reconocimiento, por la inclusión, por sus derechos, incluyendo el derecho a la diferencia, la realizan desde la estetización de sus cuerpos, desde los intercambios afectivos con los que se fortalecen en común unión y con la presencia en el lugar que les permite estar juntos. La voz amplificada de los Jóvenes que cuentan es una aproximación a los mundos de vida de 13 jóvenes que seguramente son similares a las historias no compartidas de aquellos jóvenes latinoamericanos que tienen mucho por contar.

The structuring of Urban Space is as topical as ever in this era of climate change, hyper-urbanisation, post-digital labour markets, and geo-political power shifts.
