Buku Bunga Rampai Perkotaan ini merupakan serangkaian hasil kajian yang dilakukan dengan mengangkat tema-tema khusus terkait perkembangan perkotaan saat ini. Perkembangan kota yang cepat dan dinamis menuntut semua stakeholder untuk mampu menghadapi berbagai tantangan kota yang muncul. Buku ini berusaha menggali dan membahas isu yang terkait dengan perkotaan diantaranya urgensi hunian publik terjangkau di perkotaan, strategi pengelolaan guna lahan campuran di kawasan transit, munculnya fenomena gentrifikasi di kawasan peri urban, serta pentingnya pengelolaan lahan pemakaman TPBU (Taman Pemakaman Bukan Umum) di perkotaan. Bagian Pertama yaitu hunian publik terjangkau merupakan isu yang penting namun hingga kini belum diimbangi dengan strategi pengelolaan yang optimal. Cukup banyak program yang digulirkan namun tidak berlanjut karena pergantian kepemimpinan, perencanaan yang kurang matang dan strategi penanganan yang tidak komprehensif. Oleh karena itu itu, bagian pertama ini akan mengupas sejauh mana strategi optimalisasi aset terlantar perlu dilakukan, mengapa hausing carrier perlu dipertimbangkan, bagaimana skema sewa milik perlu disebarluaskan, serta dimana saja pola hunian campuran dapat di kembangkan. Pertanyaan tersebut akan dijawab pada bagian pertama ini. Bagian kedua, tidak jauh berbeda dengan isu pada bagian pertama dimana guna lahan campuran menjadi salah satu strategi yang digulirkan pada New Urban Agenda pada tahun 2016, maka ada beberapa hal yang akan diulas pada bagian ini diantaranya yaitu sejauh mana pengembangan kawasan transit telah diimplementasikan di kota-kota di Indonesia, seberapa pentingnya pemanfaatan LVC (Penangkapan Nilai Lahan) di kawasan transit, sejuah mana konsolidasi lahan vertikal dapat dilakukan, serta beberapa contoh kasus di luar negeri. Berbagai isu dan tantangan yang diulas pada bagian ini diharapkan dapat menambah informasi pengelola kota khsususnya metropolitan yang memiliki titik-titik transit diperkotaan. Bagian ketiga, akan mengulas fenomena gentrifikasi yang terjadi di kawasan peri urban atau pinggiran kota. Fenomena ini memiliki beberapa perbedaan karakteristik dengan fenomena yang terjadi di pusat kota, kawasan transit atau juga di koridor infrastruktur. Fenomena ini penting diperhatikan namun seringkali luput dari perhatian pengelola kota. Dengan mengambil contoh kasus di Kabupaten Tangerang dan Tangerang Selatan diharapkan analisis dampak dari fenomena gentrifikasi ini mampu memberi perspektif baru dalam pengelolaan pinggiran kota. Bagian keempat, yaitu tentang pengelolaan pemakaman yang seringkali kurang mendapat prioritas dalam penanganan isu-isu perkotaan. Sedangkan kebutuhan lahan pemakaman meningkat terus seiring pertumbuhan penduduk. Ironisnya faktor permintaan akan kebutuhan lahan pemakaman tidak dapat diimbangi dengan penyediaan lahan pemakaman yang memadai sehingga sistem pemakaman tumpuk saat ini menjadi satu-satunya solusi. Di lain sisi, ketersediaan Taman Pemakaman Bukan Umum atau TPBU di perkotaan sebagian besar belum dikembangkan dengan optimal dari sisi lokasi, akses hingga sarana prasarana pendukung. Oleh karena itu bagian ini akan mengulas bagaimana pentingnya pengelolaan pemakaman perlu difikirkan solusinya oleh pengelola kota. Keempat bagian pembahasan ini berupaya untuk menambah wawasan semua pihak terkait, yang memiliki ketertarikan pada isu-isu dan dinamika perkembangan kota. Tentunya, ibarat pepatah “tak ada gading yang tak tak retak”, begitupun buku ini masih memiiki banyak kekurangan dan keterbatasan. Semoga masukan para pembaca dapat lebih menyempurnakan kuliatas buku ini maupun karya lainnya di masa mendatang.

Quarks are the main constituents of protons and neutrons and hence are important building blocks of all the matter that surrounds us. However, quarks have the intriguing property that they never appear as isolated single particles but only in bound states. This phenomenon is called confinement and has been a central research topic of elementary particle physics for the last few decades. In order to find the mechanism that forbids the existence of free quarks many approaches and ideas are being followed, but by now it has become clear that they are not mutually exclusive but illuminate the problem from different perspectives. Two such confinement scenarios are investigated in this thesis: Firstly, the importance of Abelian field components for the low-energy regime is corroborated, thus supporting the dual superconductor picture of confinement and secondly, the influence of the Gribov horizon on non-perturbative solutions is studied.
