Buku ini menyajikan step-by-step guide dalam membangun website dengan Yii2 Framework secara umum, dengan studi kasus real website SIPENA (Sistem Perekaman Fenomena) secara khusus. Website ini dibangun pada awal tahun 2017 dengan menggunakan komponen; Yii2 Framework dalam PHP 7, Database MySQL, JavaScript, dan Responsive HTML.
