A novel of North America's Forgotten Past The epic tale that began in The People of the Longhouse draws to a close in People of the Black Sun, the final installation of the Iroquois quartet by award-winning archaeologists and New York Times and USA Today bestselling authors Kathleen O'Neal Gear and W. Michael Gear. The darkness that Dekanawida has envisioned is drawing closer, and the warring Iroquois nations have refused to listen to his message of peace and compassion. Consumed by madness, Chief Atotarho is determined to subjugate all five nations—beginning with Dekanawida's own people, the Standing Stone nation. All who stand in his way will be destroyed. It is on the field of battle that Dekanawida is given his first real advantage in his quest for peace. A great storm appears to answer his call, scattering Atotarho's forces when they are on the verge of annihilating the Standing Stone People. Now elevated to the status of Prophet, Dekanawida must call on the aid of old friends Baji and Hiyawento to convince the hostile neighboring clans that the destruction of one nation will mean the end of them all. Can their mission of peace succeed in time to save everyone that they love, or will their world be consumed by darkness? Why are some of us remembered for all time, while the vast majority of mankind is forgotten after death? How is it possible that some of us attain godlike qualities, a deified status, and are referred to by mankind for all time, while the majority struggles in all futility to even establish a part of their power in the world? These are mysteries presented to us, and for Aeons mankind tried to figure out what those specific properties are which make of man a Being of Greatness. What did people like Hitler, Disney, Ghandi and Crowley exactly do that made them known, loved or hated among mankind? How did the gods of Egypt became deified? Why does the name of Tammuz (Nimrod) still echo in numerous religious scripts? Why is Jesus Christ still remembered, even worshipped, after more than 2000 years? Why exactly would Lucifer choose to break with the Creator, no longer willing to do His bidding? What did a philosopher like Friedrich Nietzsche truly see which made him write his critical Works of Ecce Homo, The Antichrist and Human, all too Human? How is it possible that Pharaoh Akhenaten, known as the Heretic King, emerges from history with such power and intensity while in his time the people did everything to wipe out every trace of his existence? Why does a character like Darth Vader appeal to many of us so intensely? What is this force that reveals profound wisdom, its Keys of Power and a Deified Lordship to only a few and brings an avalanche of lunacy down upon the many?In this controversial and confronting work written by Phagos A. Hoshigaoka, the reader will be given the knife to pierce through the veils of what precisely divides mankind from the gods and what will aid the one who aspires, to initiate and to set foot on the Dark Path of Sovereignty, even when he finds himself in the most difficult and confusing of circumstances. The author comes with a Noesis that will defy your limitations, challenges the Status Quo and put your Sense of Reality and Aspiration to the test.Black Sun Imperium is a work that will carefully unveil the nature of the Black Sun and which will prove to be valuable in daily life, as it aids you to build and strengthen your Soul through profound understanding and practical methods of implementation which were once wielded by the Ancient Darklords. In this work, the layers will be peeled off concerning society and how it manipulates you through more mediums and schemes than you believe possible, and which intends to sweep your identity off the map. By scrutinizing this, it also provides you with the assets to intercept and untangle this for good by using the comprehension of the force of the Black Sun. The immense power of the Black Sun is explained concerning our Self and our World, and it reveals why it affects the world so deeply in, for instance, the times of Babel and during World War II. This realistic work is very suitable for both new and experienced Darksiders who do not fear brutal honesty and who practically aspire to become Heavy Caliber, Powerful and Eminent Darklords amongst mankind, those who are not afraid to step over the edge in order to cross the Abyss to Deification and by its revelations, encouraged by using the Power of the Black Sun in order to turn things to their advantage. It is never too late to step down the Path of Black Illumination if you desire it, whether you are 24, 40 or 74 years of age, whether Sith, Dark Elf, Dragon, Vampire, a Witchdoctor or a Lofcraftian Black Emperor in Essence, whether you feel the deep desire to become a Darklord among mankind, secretly or openly transforming yourself and bending reality to your Will to forge your own Empire. This book gives the new Darksiders a headstart, and the more experienced an expanded point of view. As notorious as the Power of the Black Sun is, this work certainly is not for the faint of heart, but then again, it is definitely not for the small of mind either.

Also available in an open-access, full-text edition at http://oaktrust.library.tamu.edu/handle/1969.1/86080 The black sun, an ages-old image of the darkness in individual lives and in life itself, has not been treated hospitably in the modern world. Modern psychology has seen darkness primarily as a negative force, something to move through and beyond, but it actually has an intrinsic importance to the human psyche. In this book, Jungian analyst Stanton Marlan reexamines the paradoxical image of the black sun and the meaning of darkness in Western culture. In the image of the black sun, Marlan finds the hint of a darkness that shines. He draws upon his clinical experiences—and on a wide range of literature and art, including Goethe’s Faust, Dante’s Inferno, the black art of Rothko and Reinhardt—to explore the influence of light and shadow on the fundamental structures of modern thought as well as the contemporary practice of analysis. He shows that the black sun accompanies not only the most negative of psychic experiences but also the most sublime, resonating with the mystical experience of negative theology, the Kabbalah, the Buddhist notions of the void, and the black light of the Sufi Mystics. An important contribution to the understanding of alchemical psychology, this book draws on a postmodern sensibility to develop an original understanding of the black sun. It offers insight into modernity, the act of imagination, and the work of analysis in understanding depression, trauma, and transformation of the soul. Marlan’s original reflections help us to explore the unknown darkness conventionally called the Self. "It is not difficult to be happy under a blue sky. But it takes a lot of courage to be strong even under a black sun." Over the years, a black sun has risen twice. A dark dawn whose rays have done terrible things to people's minds, driving them to all sorts of horror. Twelve years have passed since the last time and the world still fears the return of that inexplicable phenomenon. But fear is not the only legacy of those terrible days. All the women who got pregnant under the influence of the black sun have given birth to babies with some… peculiarities. White hair, ashy skin, abnormal proportions, and eyes as red as fire: the Children of the Black Sun. Brightvale is a small town like many others. Here the Children of the Black Sun are treated with particular contempt, especially in the days leading up to the anniversary of the two disasters. The hatred of their fellow villagers, terrified of a possible return of that horror, will push these kids to unite and embark on a hallucinatory journey to discover themselves and their true nature. But is the black sun really about to return?

Over a millennium ago, Erna, a seismically active yet beautiful world was settled by colonists from far-distant Earth. But the seemingly habitable planet was fraught with perils no one could have foretold, and the colonists found themselves caught in a desperate battle for survival against the fae, a terrifying natural force with the power to prey upon the human mind itself, drawing forth images from a person's worst nightmare or most treasured dreams and indiscriminately giving them life. Twelve centuries after fate first stranded the colonists on Erna, mankind has achieved an uneasy stalemate, and human sorcerers manipulate the fae for their own profit, little realising that demonic forces which feed upon such efforts are rapidly gaining in strength. Now, as the hordes of the dark fae multiply, four people - Priest, Adept, Apprentice and Sorcerer - are about to be drawn inexorably together for a mission which will force them to confront an evil beyond their imagining, in a conflict which will put not only their own lives but the very fate of humankind in jeopardy ...

A novel of North America's Forgotten Past Twelve summers after the events of The People of the Longhouse and The Dawn Country, the Iroquois nations remain locked in bitter warfare. Atotarho, the cannibal-sorcerer who leads the People of the Hills, schemes to set into motion a cataclysmic battle that threatens to destroy the Iroquoian world. His warriors spread fear and death wherever they go, taking captives and burning villages to the ground. Only five people are brave enough to challenge Atotarho. Odion, Wrass, Tutelo, Baji, and Zateri, kidnapped as children and sold into slavery, are now grown, and they have forged a desperate alliance that just might be strong enough to stop the madman. Odion, now a disgraced warrior known as Dekanawida or Sky Messenger, must convince his people that his visions of a great darkness will mean total destruction for all. His friend Wrass, who has become War Chief Hiyawento, and a powerful clan matron, Jigonsaseh, are his only hope. They must find a way to bring five warring nations together. Award-winning archaeologists and New York Times and USA Today bestselling authors Kathleen O'Neal Gear and W. Michael Gear continue their retelling of the story of the Peacemaker, one of North America's most beautiful epics in The Broken Land. Dekanawida's message of compassion and spiritual unity is as powerful today as it was six hundred years ago—perhaps even more so. Set during and after World War I. The novel follows Jonathan Hare, writer and misogynist, a character very much based on Swift, through his tragic relationships with two women who are likewise based on real people in Swift's life. Luxurious, angular, poetic, and sprinkled with allusions to Swift's most famous works and correspondence, I Live Under a Black Sun is a work that will surely entrance a whole new generation of readers. Highlighting a forgotten classic that has been out of print for nearly half a century, this is a fictionalized biography of Jonathan Swift and his tragic relationships with "Stella" and "Vanessa," updated to a time during and after World War I.
