Alvise, o meglio la sua Ombra (dato che si tratta di un fantasma), narra le vicende di Oltre, un giovane a cui è affezionato come a un figlio e che, grazie alle sue doti sensitive, riesce a percepirlo sin da quando era un bambino curioso e un po’ impacciato. Alvise non ha ancora oltrepassato la “soglia” e lo farà soltanto al trentaduesimo compleanno di Oltre, a fianco al quale è sempre rimasto per offrirgli protezione e perché il ragazzo lo aiutasse a comprendere le cause della sua misteriosa morte; senza contare che da giovane il fantasma aveva condiviso con sua madre un grande amore. Alvise in virtù del suo lavoro, quasi da agente segreto, si era ritrovato a viaggiare molto, trascorrendo anche un periodo in Cina. Secondo la tradizione cinese, Oltre sta per entrare nella piena maturità della vita in cui si concretizzano potenzialità e aspirazioni e Alvise, prima di andar via per sempre, intende lasciargli un dono: una registrazione in cui ripercorre i fatti più rilevanti della vita del suo protetto, un’anima sensibile che disegna, scrive poesie, si immedesima in un gatto ed è alla ricerca di una ragazza che ha sognato. Muovendosi dagli anni ’60 agli ’80 del Novecento principalmente tra la romantica Verona e l’ambiente veneziano, l’Ombra segue gli incontri di Oltre con diverse culture e anche quelli amorosi; una narrazione emozionante scandita da ricchissimi riferimenti letterari, cinematografici, musicali e storici. Nato al Lido di Venezia nel 1953, Pier Prospero vive a Verona da molti anni. Laureato in Architettura, si è dedicato con entusiasmo alla Bioarchitettura. Si è anche specializzato in Geobiologia in Germania, dove ha conseguito il diploma di “Geobiologische Berater”. Ha seguito gli insegnamenti del geologo Roberto Chiari, allora docente all’Università di Parma, sulla percezione degli scambi energetici del substrato geologico. Ha partecipato alle comunicazioni di Fisica Quantistica tenute per il suo piccolo gruppo dal fisico teorico Emilio Del Giudice. Ha collaborato ai contenuti del libro “Progettazione ecocompatibile dell’architettura” di Esselibri. La Provincia di Catania ha pubblicato il suo studio sulle caratteristiche geobiofisiche del basalto lavico dell’Etna in “Opus Aetnae”. Invitato alla trasmissione televisiva “Roxy Bar” e ad alcune radio di Verona, rimane particolarmente grato all’intervista su L’Espresso del 28.03.2002: “Quella scuola sa di cioccolato, una materna costruita secondo la Bioarchitettura”. Ha alle spalle una storia di articolista e conferenziere, ma dal 2019 si dedica finalmente, e completamente, alla scrittura di narrativa, la sua vera passione.
