Es wird - mit echten Zahlen und Fakten - die Personalplanung für die Kfz-Betriebsabteilung beschrieben und mit über 20 Abbildungen illustriert. Die sogenannte Rosenkranz-Formel versucht möglichst alle personalbeeinflussenden Umstände mathematisch abzubilden. Eine spannende Darstellung über Möglichkeiten und Grenzen einer Personalplanung im Dienstleistungsbereich! Wie so viele andere Wirtschaftszweige ist auch die Versicherungswirtschaft einem gewaltigen Strukturwandel unterlegen. Die Ursachen hierfür sind nicht nur in der allgemeinen volkswirtschaftlichen Situation zu suchen. Eine der Hauptursachen ist die 1994 erfolgte Deregulierung des Versicherungswesens, also die Überführung der schärferen EU-Richtlinien - vor allem hinsichtlich des freien Wettbewerbs - in nationales Recht. Die Konsequenzen sind weitreichend: Vor allem der Wegfall der Genehmigungspflicht von Tarifen hat zu einer wahren Innovationsflut von neuen Produkten mit unterschiedlichsten Ausprägungen geführt. Durch den damit verbundenen Wettbewerbsdruck sind die Versicherer gehalten, ihre Beiträge möglichst knapp zu kalkulieren, was wiederum direkte Auswirkungen auf die Ertragslage der Unternehmen hat. Verstärkt wird dieser Effekt durch die anhaltend zurückgehenden Erträge aus dem nichtversicherungstechnischen Geschäft. Durch die Vorauszahlungen der Prämien zu Beginn einer Versicherungsperiode konnten im Rahmen dieses Kapital-Anlagegeschäfts in Zeiten des Börsenbooms bis Ende des letzten Jahrtausends versicherungstechnische Verluste noch ausgeglichen werden. Doch in der andauernden Phase des Konjunkturtiefs mit teilweise dramatischen Verlusten auf dem Börsenparkett ist diese "überlebensnotwendige" Quelle eines profitablen Entsparvorgangs vorerst versiegt.
