Angola 1492, due meteoriti con proprietà sorprendenti cadono sul villaggio del popolo Klun. Lo stregone scopre casualmente che unendo i due minerali sotto i raggi del sole emettono una luce che dissolve gli esseri viventi. Useranno la "luce che uccide" per difendersi dagli schiavisti portoghesi che razziavano il loro territorio. Secoli dopo, alla vigilia della seconda guerra mondiale, l’Ahnenerbe tedesca trova nell’Archivio Segreto Vaticano una lettera di un missionario che parla delle pietre cadute dal cielo e della luce che uccide. Credendo che questa scoperta possa portare alla costruzione di un’arma per vincere la seconda guerra mondiale l’Ahnenerbe invia una spedizione nel territorio angolano per cercare i meteoriti e ancora una volta i discendenti del popolo Klun dovranno difendere il loro segreto a costo della vita. Per una fatalità tutto sembra dimenticato sino ai giorni nostri ma il ritrovamento di due piccoli pezzi delle "Pietre di Luce" riaccende la corsa al loro segreto e le grandi potenze non possono che cercare di impossessarsene ad ogni costo.
