Pir Hacı Bayram-ı Veli, (Ankara, 1352 - Ankara, 1429), Türk mutasavvıf ve şair. İstanbul'u, Fatih Sultan Mehmed Han'ın fethedeceğini müjdeleyen büyük veli. Safevî Tarikatı büyüklerinden Hoca Ala ad-Din Ali Erdebili'nin talebelerinden olan Şeyh Hamid Hamid'ûd-Din-i Veli'nin müridi ve Bayramiyye Tarikatı'nın kurucusudur. Türbesi, Ankara'da Pir Hacı Bayram Câmii'nin bitişiğinde bulunmaktadır. Hacı Bayram-ı Veli 15. yüzyılda Anadolu Türk Birliğinin yeniden sağlanmasında en az politik ve askeri güçler kadar etkili olan Anadolu sufilerinin en önemlilerinden biridir.Çeşitli araştırmalara dayanarak Pir Hacı Bayram Veli'yi Anadolu Aleviliğinin temellerinden birisidir. Bayramiye gerek Erdebil Tekkesi gelenek ve görüşleri, gerek Anadolu tekkelerinin tasavvuf görüşleri ve eylemleri tıpa tıp uyum göstermektedir. Hacı Bayram Veli'yi Sünni gelenek ve kalıplar içinde görmek oldukça güç. Pir Hacı Bayram Veli'nin kurmuş olduğu Bayramiye Tarikatı bağımsızlığını da koruyamamış, çeşitli dallarla süregelmiştir. Her ne kadar Alevilerin Safevi koluna yakın ve o tekkeden etkilenmiş olursa da Bayramilik zamanla Sünni geleneğin içine düşmüştür. Diğer tarikatlar; Haydarilik, Babailer Bektaşilik, Kalenderîlik, Melamilik, Ahilik gibi Anadolu Alevi tarikatları Bektaşilikle bütünleşerek kaybolmuştur.

In the rising momentum for new and reformulated cultural identities, the Turkish Alevi have also emerged on the scene, demanding due recognition.
