Writing is part of my therapeutic process of poetic healing. Sharing my thoughts and rhythms with the world intensifies the feeling of having spoken out my sorrows from my soul. This book is a collection of poems I wrote on my own path of poetic healing. It is a mosaic of poems that do not build a pattern, but in the end paint a picture of my strive for poetic healing.

Poetic Healing is likely to capture the attention of readers from all walks of life and various generations, because of the material the author covers in the book and the way he presents it. Hall gives a vivid account of the images seen by people throughout the world September 11, 2001. In a calm and soothing way, he pours from his own soul the thoughts and feelings that were on the minds of so many people after the surprise attack on the United States of America. Lives and possessions were lost but many of the poems in this collection seem to highlight the glimmer of hope that remains to sustain us in our determination to keep trusting in God and to live in harmony with other human beings. Al Hall has been interested in poetry since childhood, when he enjoyed listening to his parents read nursery rhymes. His mother usually recited a few rhyming lines as a part of counseling or disciplining him and his siblings. The author believes this early beginning that sparked his interest in poetry enables him to write about daily life situations as they occur among people and in places around him.

Isis Imani Sanders is a very interesting and diversified personality with a smile that is electric. She believes in herself and others and always has an abundance of spiritually optimistic words that she is willing to share. She never forgets where she came from and the humble beginnings that have brought her to where she is today always trusting God for better in her own life and the lives of others. As she says: I have had many experiences, such as the time spent with my dear auntie who was an Evangelist Preacher with a store front church that taught and showed me about the love of God and his ways. She knew that I love the Lord and wanted to hear about him, the person and the things he did when he came to do the will of his father on this earth, so amazing! And I was singing and preaching to the congregation at the age of 9. I will always remember what she told me that the blood has already sign my name and no matter what happens in this life I will always belong to God. Beloved, I believe that my writings are spiritually given no matter the topic and always meant to edify our minds and give grace understanding and stability to our souls. We are giving you the pillars upon which each poetic voice has been prophetically given. Within the pounding of my own heart and in remembrance of our ancestors who have cried in the wilderness of the ages I am grateful and humble to bring you this volume of Seeds of Poetic Healing vol. 4 "Poetry is our Pulpit" To be encouraged and strengthen in faith that God Loves You! Be Grateful Also by: Isis Imani Sanders SEEDS OF POETIC HEALING, vol. 1 "Reading Between the Lines" SEEDS OF POETIC HEALING, vol.2 "Conscious Thought" SEEDS OF POETIC HEALING, vol.3 "Spiritually Speaking"

Poetry and short stories can act as powerful springboards to growth, self-enhancement and healing. With the guidance of a skilled facilitator, participants can engage with their own creative expression, and with that of others, and in doing so find opportunities to voice their truth, affirm their strengths, and find new ways of coping with challenges. This book explores the therapeutic possibilities of poetry and stories in turn, describing how to select appropriate works for discussion, and providing techniques for facilitating personally-relevent and growth-enhancing sessions. The author provides ideas and suggestions for personal writing activities that emerge from or intertwine with this discussion, and explains how participants can create their own poetic and narrative pieces using non-literary stimuli, such as music, photographs, paintings, objects, and physical movement. A useful appendix contains titles of individual poems, stories, and literary anthologies that the author has found particularly beneficial in her work, as well as useful further resources and contact details for readers who would like to train to be registered or certified poetry therapists or facilitators. Combining theory with innovative ideas for practical, experiential exercises, this book is a valuable tool for creative arts therapy students and practitioners, mental health and medical professionals, and anyone else interested in the healing possibilities of creative expression.
