Dialogszenen sind in deutschen Erzähltexten aus der Zeit um 1200 weit verbreitet. Auch können sie in vielen Aspekten auf moderne Leser durchaus befremdlich wirken. Dennoch wurden sie in der mediävistischen Forschung bislang nur selten intensiv diskutiert. Auf breiter Textgrundlage entwickelt die Autorin in ihrer Arbeit einen phänomenologisch hermeneutischen Ansatz zur Untersuchung mittelhochdeutscher wehselreden. Dieser begründet und ermöglicht Interpretationswege, welche die Vielschichtigkeit und Fremdheit mittelalterlicher epischer Gespräche nicht umgehen, sondern sie im Gegenteil hervortreten lassen. So öffnen sich Perspektiven auf die Historizität, Poetizität und Literarizität der mittelhochdeutschen Erzählliteratur wie auch auf die anthropologisch-ontologischen Dimensionen des Dialogs überhaupt.

Zwischen 1933 und 1945 dokumentierten zahlreiche Geflüchtete ihre Erfahrungen mit dem NS-Regime, um die (Welt)-Öffentlichkeit über dessen Verbrechen aufzuklären. Mittels rhetorischer und narrativer Verfahren und dem gattungsspezifischen Referenzversprechen implizieren diese Texte eine komplizitäre Rezeptionshaltung, die konstitutiv für ihre Poetik ist. Die vorliegende Studie bringt auf innovative Weise Ansätze aus der Exilforschung, der internationalen Autobiographie- und Life Writing-Forschung sowie der literaturwissenschaftlichen Pragmatik zusammen. Dabei entwickelt sie das Konzept der ‚Komplizenschaft‘ als eine rezeptionsästhetische Analysekategorie, die den komplexen und weitaus unterschätzten Poetiken der testimonialen Exilautobiographik Rechnung trägt. In eingehenden Fallstudien werden Autobiographien von Stefan Zweig, Sebastian Haffner und Catherine Klein untersucht.

Despite the ongoing vivid and fruitful reception of Goethe's Elective Affinities its outstanding narrative technique and stylistical devices have not been studied as much as other issues of the 1809 novel. With my approach I want to draw the attention to a widely neglected aspect of this drama-novel that owes much of its compositional perfection and appeal to Goethe's unusual and innovative use of the historical present. The change of function of this classical device and its important role in establishing new techniques in depicting emotional conflicts and aporetic individual perception is the topic of this study.

English summary: This dissertation provides the first comprehensive description of German Rap as a form of poetry. It features the widest research overview yet, critically outlining all the main academic trends in dealing with rap. The main part of the book includes two different approaches. First, the Rapschaffen is determined as poiesis and thus as a literary practice. To this end, the common authorship model is explained, which combines the adoration of standardized poetic craftsmanship with an implicit promise of authenticity. Rapschaffen is than descripted as an aesthetic activity with oral and literal shares. Secondly, main characteristics of the genre are pointed out, regarding media, formal and contentual aspects, as well as their interaction. It shows that rap is particularly applicable to stage the speaker as cool and confident. Finally, the social importance of rap in Germany is recapilated on, pleading for a more conscious perception of the literary practice as a cognitively demanding activity. In this sense the approach sets an example for how methods of literary analysis can be used for cultural diagnosis. German description: Rap ist die wohl popularste und einflussreichste Lyrikform der Gegenwart. Gerade unter jungen Mannern ist das Schreiben und Deklamieren von Rap-Texten inzwischen eine der beliebtesten Freizeitbeschaftigungen uberhaupt. Dabei orientieren sie sich in der Konzeption wie auch im Vortragsstil an textsortenspezifischen Regeln und Prinzipien. Fabian Wolbring erschliesst diese nun am Beispiel des deutschsprachigen Rap erstmalig und untersucht sie auf ihre asthetischen Potenziale hin. Es zeigt sich, dass die Gestaltungsprinzipien in Reim- und Rhythmusbindung, Stimmnutzung, Themenwahl und Sprechverhalten wie auch das gangige Autorschaftsmodell besonders dazu geeignet sind, den Sprecher als souveran, autonom und uberlegen zu inszenieren. Die literaturwissenschaftliche Analyse gewinnt dabei kulturdiagnostisches Potenzial.
