Se investiga la relación entre la producción teatral y la actividad política durante los sesentas o sixties, conjeturando las razones del fracaso y desarticulación de la izquierda política en la región, seguida por la instalación de regímenes dictatoriales atroces y la decepción subsiguiente. Se esgrime la tesis de una dimensión evangélica de la revolución, en la que el cristianismo filtra el discurso marxista limitando su potencia transformadora y afectando simultáneamente las prácticas políticas y las culturales. Se propone la teatralidad como política de la mirada. Los textos del Che Guevara se cotejan con los de Ignacio de Loyola y se estudia una teatralidad de la guerrilla que atraviesa los manifiestos y discusiones de los teatristas, desde la creación colectiva hasta el happening. Una poética perversa del sacrificio y del martirologio sostiene y limita las rebeldías artísticas durante esa etapa del capitalismo. Se debate la cuestión de la praxis teatral desde Stanislavski hasta Grotowski.

Porque así manipulan a las masas, todos los líderes izquierdistas. En otras palabras, hay personas que no se informan ni se quieren informar, porque la información, aunque esté limitada en algunos países, siempre se encuentra una fuente que nos aclare la mente y nos revele la verdad, pero prefieren seguir la corriente de mediocridad. En el siglo XXI, la era digital y de la información, las personas cada vez están menos informadas porque sufren de ignorancia crónica voluntaria.
