Ce rapport est l' uvre de 5 etudiants en Faculte des Sciences Agronomiques a l'Universite d'Abomey Calavi (Benin, en stage Methodes d'Animation et d'Intervention en Milieu Rural visant a comprendre la structuration et le fonctionnement des organisations paysannes (OP) en Afrique, identifier les structures qui interviennent et analyser leurs methodes. Des entretiens individuels, focus-groups et observations participantes ont ete utilises pour collecter les donnees. 13 OP formelles, 6 informelles et 1 hybride ont ete recensees, dont 4 groupements d'hommes (GH), 8 groupements feminins (GF) et mixtes. Dans le village, 3 groupes d'activites sont menees: agriculture, transformations agro-alimentaires et commerce. Apres analyse sommaire, le GH TOGBEYA a ete choisi sur la base de criteres pour etude de cas permettant de cerner l'organisation des membres, difficultes rencontrees et solutions. Ce GH beneficie de l'appui du gouvernement, des organismes privees et internationaux. Leur intervention a evolue dans le temps, au point ou les formes d'appuis anterieures sont litteralement differentes de celles d'aujourd'hui. Des recommandations ont ete faites pour restructurer et dynamiser les OP"
