Diplomarbeit aus dem Jahr 2008 im Fachbereich Soziologie - Politische Soziologie, Majoritäten, Minoritäten, Note: 1,0, Carl von Ossietzky Universität Oldenburg, 172 Quellen im Literaturverzeichnis, Sprache: Deutsch, Abstract: Inwieweit politische Sozialisation in beiden Systemen unterschiedlich betrieben wurde, ob sich auch Gemeinsamkeiten feststellen lassen und ob die angedachten Ziele erreicht wurden, ist Gegenstand dieser Arbeit. Ferner wird auf die heutige Bedeutung und mögliche Auswirkungen dieser unterschiedlichen Sozialisation eingegangen, so daß Erkenntnisse für die politisch-soziale Gegenwart gewonnen werden können. Denn Kinder und Jugendliche wurden in Deutschland bis 1989 entweder in einer sozialistischen Mangelwirtschaft oder in einer postindustriellen Konsum- und Dienstleistungsgesellschaft groß. Daher ist nicht auszuschließen, daß sich eigenständige DDR- und BRD-Identitäten herausbildeten. So differierten etwa die Wertemuster in der DDR und der BRD sowie nach der Vereinigung in Ost und West. Da die Wertehaltungen in den unterschiedlichen Sozialisationserfahrungen und politischen Kulturen begründet sind und sich teilweise bis heute auf die politischen Überzeugungen und Interessen auswirken, wird der jeweiligen Werte-Entwicklung entsprechendes Gewicht beigemessen. Zu beachten ist jedoch, daß etwa auch die unterschiedliche Sozialstruktur und die territoriale Verteilung der Bevölkerung (Verstädterung in der BRD; starkes Gewicht ländlicher Strukturen in der DDR) die Werte-Entwicklung beeinflußt haben. Auch im Vereinigungsprozeß liegen entsprechende Impulse begründet.Da nicht nur der Staat politisch sozialisiert, wird eingangs auf die Bedeutung und Wirkung der anderen Sozialisationsinstanzen eingegangen. Inwieweit diese wiederum von staatlicher Seite beeinflußt werden (soweit es die Strukturen erlauben), wird ebenfalls untersucht.Im Blickpunkt stehen die Gegebenheiten ab ca. 1970, als die Ausdifferenzierung der politischen Sozialisationsbedingungen in beiden deutschen Staaten weitgehend abgeschlossen war.

Studienarbeit aus dem Jahr 2002 im Fachbereich Soziologie - Kinder und Jugend, Note: 1,7, Ruprecht-Karls-Universität Heidelberg, Veranstaltung: Sozialisation von Kindern und Jugendlichen, Sprache: Deutsch, Abstract: Gegenstand dieser Arbeit ist eine vergleichende Darstellung des Prozesses politischer Sozialisation von Kindern in der Bundesrepublik Deutschland und der Deutschen Demokratischen Republik. Unter politischer Sozialisation sei in diesem Zusammenhang der „Erwerb von Orientierungsmustern gegenüber politischen Gegenständen in einer Gesellschaft durch das Individuum“ (Andersen/Woyke 2000: 498) verstanden. Der politische Sozialisationsprozess verläuft nach Claußen (1982: 54) stets „kultur-, system-, zeit- und schichtspezifisch“. In der vorliegenden Arbeit soll insbesondere auf die systemspezifischen Aspekte der politischen Sozialisation von Kindern eingegangen werden, um abschließend anhand der Gegenüberstellung von BRD und DDR zu diskutieren, inwiefern Kindern dem politischen System entsprechende Kenntnisse, Fähigkeiten, Einstellungen und Werte vermittelt werden. Die zeitliche Dimension der Darstellung bezieht sich auf den Zeitraum vom Beginn der 60er Jahre bis zum Zeitpunkt der Wiedervereinigung. Als Kinder werden in der vorliegenden Arbeit Mädchen und Jungen im Alter von drei bis elf Jahren betrachtet, das heißt, der Lebensabschnitt, in dem sowohl der Einfluss der Familie als auch der Schule als Sozialisationsinstanz prägend ist. Das erste Kapitel soll zunächst einen Einblick geben in den Forschungsstand zum Begriff der politischen Sozialisation. Anschließend werden der politische Sozialisationsprozess sowie die politischen Sozialisationsinstanzen aus soziologischer Perspektive näher beschrieben. Kapitel 3 zeigt die Sozialisationsinstanzen Familie und Schule in der BRD auf, bevor im vierten Kapitel ebendies am Beispiel der DDR beschrieben wird. Abschließend sollen beide Ausführungen unter dem Aspekt diskutiert werden, welche Gemeinsamkeiten und Unterschiede sich daraus ergeben hinsichtlich der Ausbildung politischer Orientierungen bei Kindern und inwieweit die einzelnen Instanzen eine funktional bedeutende Rolle spielen.
