INTRODUCCION La tu00e9cnica all-on-four es un sistema que permite la rehabilitaciu00f3n total fija con implantes del maxilar superior y/o inferior en el paciente desdentado, y colocaciu00f3n de dientes fijos de inmediato siempre que haya buena estabilidad primaria. Su nombre procede de la utilizaciu00f3n de, u00fanicamente, 4 implantes por maxilar, aunque pueden ser necesarios 5 o 6 en ciertos casos del maxilar superior. Se puede aplicar en un alto porcentaje de casos (los implantes inferiores seru00e1n interforaminales y en ese sector casi siempre es posible su inserciu00f3n incluso en situaciones de reabsorciu00f3n severa, tambiu00e9n es sencilla y bajo coste por el uso de menos implantes, METODOLOGIA Paciente de 71 au00f1os consulta por dificultad masticatoria como consecuencia de la existencia de dolor y abscesos de repeticiu00f3n en sextante antero-inferior. El plan de tratamiento consistiu00f3 en la exodoncia de los dientes remanentes en mandu00edbula para dos meses despuu00e9s colocaciu00f3n de cuatro implantes mediante cirugu00eda guiada. RESULTADOS Todos los implantes quedaron anclados con una estabilidad primaria superior a 35 nw, por lo que se llevu00f3 a cabo un procedimiento de provisionalizaciu00f3n con carga inmediata. Tras 3 meses de la cirugu00eda, se procediu00f3 a la toma de registros definitivos y posterior colocaciu00f3n de pru00f3tesis definitiva. CONCLUSIONES La tu00e9cnica de u201call on fouru201d con carga inmediata es una opciu00f3n predecible para maxilares edu00e9ntulos, permitiendo una rehabilitaciu00f3n funcional y estu00e9tica que resulta muy confortable para el paciente, ya que le proporciona una masticaciu00f3n u00f3ptima pocas horas despuu00e9s de la cirugu00eda.
