For centuries unnecessary confusion and conflict has run rampant throughout the Church concerning the terms predestined, elected, and chosen. It is extremely important that each Believer obtains an accurate understanding of their correct meaning and application. The Christian faith and the very character of God are literally defined by these terms. Do not believe the lie that these terms are too difficult to understand. God wants the issue of predestination settled in every Believer's mind and in the Church. Presdestined - Elected - Chosen, a ten-year journey and God-appointed mission in Michael's life, will accomplish just that. In Predestined - Elected - Chosen you will discover that God has predestined, elected, and chosen... - 'How' eternal salvation would be made available; that is, by grace, through faith in Jesus Christ, not of works - 'What' He expects of every Believer who receives Jesus Christ as their Savior; that is, a righteous, sanctified life - 'Purposes' for individuals and entire people groups Did God also predestine, elect, and choose 'who' will and 'who' will not receive eternal salvation? Answering this question is the book's focus. In Predestined - Elected - Chosen Michael takes on 102 'challenges.' These challenges are arguments and Scripture references used by both the Electionist camp (those who support the predestined eternal future view) and the Free-Will camp to support their respective views. No stone is left unturned as these challenges are contested against the scrutiny of thorough Biblical evaluation. The book format makes for an easy read, setup to function as a quick reference guide concerning any Scripture which sheds light on this critical subject. Michael's writing style is also easy to follow, absent of the complicated terms and confusing language typically used by theologians to address this issue. This is such an important issue. The doctrine of Election and the Free-Will view are literally two mutually exclusive religions. Getting this matter settled in the Church is right up there in importance with our understanding that 'salvation is by grace, through faith, not of works.' It is a non-negotiable of the Christian faith. Although theologians and laymen alike have been debating this issue for centuries, Michael has been able to successfully and concisely settle this centuries-old debate once and for all. He has been able to clearly demonstrate which view is in harmony with the Gospel of Jesus Christ found in the Bible. Predestined - Elected - Chosen is a must-read for every Believer. Getting a clear understanding of these terms is absolutely essential to ensure that you are truly 'thoroughly furnished unto all good works' by 'rightly dividing the word of truth' concerning this important matter. It is God's will for you to get this matter settled. God is not hiding the truth from anyone. The effectiveness of the Church to disciple its members and to reach the Unsaved for Jesus Christ depends upon it. Your understanding of the very attributes and character of God depends upon it. The wrong view of the terms predestined, elected, and chosen works against everything God desires to accomplish in this world and in the Church, while it works in perfect cooperation with the desires of Satan to steal, kill, and destroy. This book is about how the Christian actually became a Christian. The 'process' is Marc's focus. How does God take the Chosen from the womb to salvation then into His eternal bosom? The classic position of Election and Predestination is made plain; forcing the reader to address the alternative, Man's free-will choice to be 'saved' or not. Can these two positions be reconciled? No, not really. The Lord assured Moses: I will make all My goodness pass before you, and I will proclaim the name of the Lord before you. I will be gracious to whom I will be gracious, and I will have compassion on whom I will have compassion, Exodus 33:19. Moses was to experience a limited 'theophany, ' what the Greek Orthodox call a 'theosis, ' the physical presence of God, Himself, equivalent to - 'My goodness.' It is God's very 'Goodness' the New Testament saint knows to be the indwelt Holy Spirit, the very Spirit of Christ Jesus, Himself, God Himself. Paul cites the Exodus passage in Romans to demonstrate to the body of Christ that God by His sovereignty elected each believer to be His own, that we did not elect ourselves to be God's. And one Saint asked, "Why write about such things that have been covered for hundreds of years?" True. But more recently much about God's sovereignty has been covered over. Christian modernity has adapted as the author once did to a new Evangelicalism. Whereby, some first truths have been buried so deep that when they are unearthed they appear to be a foreign theology to the present generation of Evangelical believers. Marc affords the saint the information necessary to actually understand how he or she actually got saved! Marc presently lives in Orlando Florida where he pastors Blessed Fellowship Orlando, an outreach ministry of Orlando Prayer and Worship Center, Senior Pastor Roy Futch.

Nearly 200,000 copies sold! Chosen by God by Dr. R. C. Sproul is a contemporary classic on predestination, a doctrine that isn’t just for Calvinists. It is a doctrine for all biblical Christians. In this updated and expanded edition of Chosen by God, Sproul shows that the doctrine of predestination doesn’t create a whimsical or spiteful picture of God, but rather paints a portrait of a loving God who provides redemption for radically corrupt humans. We choose God because he has opened our eyes to see his beauty; we love him because he first loved us. There is mystery in God’s ways, but not contradiction.

You are not about to read the views of one author alone. In this powerful book Samuel Fisk quotes over 100 scholars. He presents, in one volume, a vast array of balanced and scholarly views to help you unravel the vexed questions of election and predestination. It is often assumed that one must be either a Calvinist or an Armenian. This is not so. There is a balanced, scriptural line of truth regarding election that will preserve the Bible student from dangerous by-path meadows into which far too many have strayed over the years. As you read the wise and careful comments of such scholars as W.E. Vine, Sir. Robert Anderson, C.H. Spurgeon, F.B. Meyer, Handley Moule, Harry Ironside, R.A. Torrey, G. Campbell Morgan, Wilber M. Smith, J.C. Ryle, A.T. Robinson, Christopher Wordsworth and J. Sidlow Baxter, you will begin to see your way through this particularly tricky theological minefield. This could be one of the most important books you will ever read.

"Our Christian assertion is that there is more to our lives than 'now.' If there is not then even the now is meaningless. But we say now counts. Why? Now counts because we are creatures who have an origin and a destiny which is rooted and grounded in God." --R.C. Sproul ------ There is no such thing as a meaningless moment. Since we're made in God's image and created for His eternal glory, everything we think, say, and do today matters forever. The question is, How should this truth direct our daily lives? For more than forty years, Dr. R.C. Sproul wrote his recurring column in Tabletalk magazine, Right Now Counts Forever, to apply the teachings of the Bible and Reformed theology to everyday life. No topic was off-limits because every part of our lives bears enduring significance. Through the years, Dr. Sproul helped Christians give careful thought to topics in theology and history, politics and current events, relationships and entertainment, and more. In this four-volume collection, hundreds of Dr. Sproul's columns have been brought together for the first time. Written to serve the church, this treasury of theological reflection can help guide believers of all ages to live with eternity in mind and devote all of life to the glory of God.
