Libéré à la mi-avril 1997, sous condition, il se retrouve détruit, ruiné, et se dit pourtant bien plus riche qu'avant - des rencontres qu'il a faites, des réflexions, et de la saveur nouvelle d'une liberté recouvrée, même s'il a encore des barreaux dans la tête.
