And the ultimate results being of His grace and mercies in the Lord Jesus Christ according to John 3:16!Even though the LORD God conveys His will to anyone according to His purpose and written word, we know from Old Testament times; He choose at different times; in various ways to speak specific messages, or series of messages to some of them (Job, Noah, Abraham, Isaac, Jacob, Moses, Joshua, Samuel, David, Solomon, and those called to the office of prophet in particular)! There were, and are today, times He communicated His will by unction, or leading, of the Holy Spirit as with Job, and the infilling of His saints with the Holy Spirit! There are other times He spoke His will with an audible voice; and the still small voice as with Elijah. And He spoke His will to Moses face-to-face. It seems prophets such as Daniel and Ezekiel received the will of God mostly by dreams and\ or visions. However, God may have also used variations of the other communication means (or gifts) at times, when He spoke to them all. But then the flesh, blood, and bone man, Jesus, received the infilling, or anointing of the Holy Spirit without measure (John 3:30 through 3:34). Thus, Jesus said to His followers, "have you been with me so long a time and not realize you have seen the Father?" It is the Father in me that do the works\ signs; wonders; miracles! I and my Father are one! When Jesus came (visited Judah of Israel) in the manifestation of the Son of God, He brought the Spirit of Life (which is the Holy Spirit that) Adam lost access to, through disobedience! And He (Jesus) sent the Holy Spirit again, permanently, after His ascension, for a gift (comfort, and down payment (or preparation) of things to come) to His believers, and followers (or the true Church; BUT THE WORLD CAN NOT RECEIVE THE HOLY SPIRIT, Because of the world's UNBELIEVING)!Samuel began the line of prophets the LORD God sent time and time again to speak His will to Israel in warnings about their turning away from Him unto iniquity; false gods, and idol worship. But they continued ignoring the warning of the prophets sent of God!But those messenger(s) of God and prophets continued speaking the will of God that was told to them by God: Concerning future events; warnings, and activities that must CERTAINLY come to pass! Then after a time of His choosing kingdoms on earth ruled by men shall end!

There was no provision from God for any particular leadership in Israel immediately after Joshua; only "evaluation"! The Apostle Paul (in the New Testament Book of Acts 13:20) estimated the time of Judges to have continued about four hundred fifty (450) years. And it is also likely that the events in the Book of Ruth occurred somewhere along this timeline of Judges, and/ or during the early days of 1 Samuel! Some Bible Scholars agree with Jewish tradition that Samuel (a prophet, judge, and priestly leader of Israel) wrote the Books of Judges, Ruth, and 1 Samuel through Chapter 24. But after his death at 1 Samuel Chapter 25; opinions are that the prophets Gad and Nathan wrote subsequent events detailing 1 Samuel Chapter 25 through 2 Samuel Chapter 24. And so, the lives of the prophet Samuel, King Saul, and King David are revealed as they contribute their service to Israel, and the LORD God of Creation, as described in this book, "A Testimony of Jesus 18: 1 & 2 Samuel (Thy Throne Forever I)."

The authority with which Jesus spoke packed a punch that shut the mouths of his opposition and amazed the people. The same authority from God was gifted to the Apostles then felt by the gospel's friends and enemies. It is hoped that the power of the testimony of Jesus will explode in the heart and mind of each reader in a wonderful, transforming way. Is not His Word like fire? At first, readers may become angry with the writer or with the content, but this emotion is misplaced. Why be upset with the messenger or the message? Take it up with the originator, the Creator of The Word. Maybe no one told you what Jesus, our Savior, is really like and you never discovered it for yourself. It is time we became wise. God's people perish for lack of knowledge. Why perish when God wants us to have LIFE? The proof of the book's reliability is in the Scriptures for all to see. It is in the book's pages where the passages of testimony are cited or quoted. Read them then examine their context. Do not be deceived; instead, be enlightened by the Spirit of God. "The Testimony of Jesus" encourages rational thinking and critical analysis or putting each thought to the test. The writer did, and so did the book's Bible-minded editors; readers must as well. Truth is transformational but only when we recognize it and then obey. You will read that what Jesus said came from directly from the Father. His testimony will challenge readers and inspire their faith to take a giant step forward by submitting to Him. God's idea has always been to produce Christ-likeness in His Son's disciples. In following truth wherever it leads, we find the narrow path that leads to eternal salvation. Buckle up. We may wonder why we ever sat behind the wheel for this. Some of the book may seem bumpy but the prize at the end will be well worth it. Allow the Word to dwell in you heart richly. Meditate and pray. You may not agree, but think for yourself.
