Elle devient rapidement accessible pour peu que l’on se donne la peine de connaître et d’apprendre ses grands principes fondamentaux que sont le Qi, le YinYang, la théorie des Organes-Entrailles (Zang-Fu) et la théorie des Méridiens et Ramifications (Jingluo). Ajoutons à cela qu’elle définit également très simplement « l’état de bonne santé » et ce que nous devons faire pour le préserver et ne pas tomber malades. Elle offre des techniques naturelles de soins qui permettent de nous soigner et de guérir : - la diététique ; - le Qigong ; - la pose de ventouses ; - l’usage de baguettes pour exercer des pressions sur les points de sollicitation du Qi qui parcourt notre corps grâce à des « réseaux » appelés « Méridiens » et « Ramifications » ; - le Shiatsu qui, bien que développé au Japon, prend ses sources dans la médecine et acupuncture chinoises ; - la moxibustion, ou le recours au « Chaud » ; - la médecine manuelle (manipulations diverses du corps avec les mains) ; - le Tuina (massages thérapeutiques propres à la médecine chinoise) ; - l’acupuncture (dont on ne recourt en Chine que dans 3 à 5 % des situations thérapeutiques) ; - la très puissante et efficace pharmacopée chinoise. Pratiquée dans les règles de « l’art », la médecine chinoise se montre efficiente pour nous soigner lorsque nous sommes atteints de maladies chroniques, y compris graves, et en particulier lorsque la biomédecine est en échec thérapeutique.
