Il vero cambiamento, nella storia dell’Italia e degli italiani, è quello che si è realizzato tra il 1948 e il 1978. Dopo il passaggio dalla guerra alla pace, dal fascismo alla democrazia, concluso con l’entrata in vigore della Costituzione, lo slancio della ricostruzione post-bellica si è trasformato nel boom economico e il Paese si è industrializzato, urbanizzato e scolarizzato con un’intensità senza precedenti. Questo volume racconta come, pur con errori e contraddizioni, l’Italia è diventata una delle prime sette potenze economiche del mondo e una miseria secolare è stata radicalmente sconfitta, anche se vari problemi sono rimasti aperti e la ricchezza ne ha creati di nuovi. Il cambiamento è stato possibile, in un contesto internazionale favorevole, perché gli italiani si sono uniti in uno sforzo comune e perché il raggiungimento di traguardi inediti ha favorito la loro unità. Malgrado le divisioni laceranti create dalla Guerra fredda, è in questo trentennio di democrazia e di crescita che sono stati “popolo” più che in qualsiasi altro momento della loro storia. Questo libro a più voci racconta le riforme che hanno favorito il cambiamento – da quella agraria alla Cassa per il Mezzogiorno e alla scuola media unica –; come si sono trasformate le città, la famiglia e la Chiesa; come si è evoluta la cultura di massa attraverso il Giro d’Italia e il Festival di Sanremo, la televisione e il cinema; come le migrazioni interne e il Sessantotto hanno dato alla società italiana un volto nuovo.

Il testo descrive le “rappresentazioni sociali normative” (da intendersi come le mappe mentali comuni che condizionano l’interiorizzazione delle norme) di un campione di genitori marocchini e di un campione di giudici minorili italiani in relazione a quella clausola generale che i giuristi chiamano “best interest of the child”. L’ipotesi di ricerca che viene qui avanzata è che il modo di concepire e di utilizzare cognitivamente tale clausola da parte dei due gruppi di attori oggetto della ricerca condizionino il modo in cui le norme italiane in materia di esercizio, di limitazione e di decadenza della potestà genitoriale sono applicate. Ciò consentirà di evidenziare se le rappresentazioni che le persone impiegano a livello implicito possano rischiare di comportare l’inefficacia di alcuni provvedimenti emessi dall’autorità giudiziaria.

This volume brings us closer to the dynamics of the educational world, especially students, from a wide range of national and regional scenarios, with a special focus on Europe and Latin America. In this way, a plural panorama is shown, in which the stories centered on the usual protagonists of the 1968 processes are accompanied by other scenarios, often considered secondary, but which this volume inserts in a more general story that helps us understand how the processes of the 60s were not concrete or national, but got an absolute regional and global significance. We see a complex process of transnational demand that ranged from Eastern Europe, included in the Soviet bloc, to the very heart of the Western Hemisphere, with the United States as the main axis, passing through the politically varied Western Europe, submitted to the same processes and cultural influences. In this sense, to the works that deal with the United States and France, are added others focused on Italy, Spain and Brazil, as priority focus areas, together with other European and Latin American landscapes: Great Britain, Portugal, Greece, Slovakia, Hungary, Chile, Uruguay and Mexico, without missing, in addition, the case of one of the most unique actors on the international scene: the State of Israel. With this volume, we want to continue advancing in the knowledge of the educational world of the second half of the 20th century. Great are the challenges of this world at the beginning of the 21st century and many of them were already evident in 1968. Others have materialized as a result of those events. To confront both of them, we must first identify and analyze them, as well as being aware of their magnitude. We hope that all this work can contribute to this aim.

Este libro pretende recorrer, de forma orgánica, la evolución del pensamiento filosófico y político de Augusto Del Noce (1910-1989), uno de los pensadores italianos más destacados de la posguerra. Un camino ideal dominado, en los años 1940-1950, por una intención fundamental: la de liberar a los católicos, salidos de la dictadura y de la guerra, de la nostalgia reaccionaria y abrirlos a una relación positiva con las libertades modernas. Del Noce entiende su pensamiento como la respuesta al desafío que el binomio cristianismo-democracia plantea a los católicos. El resultado fue el «descubrimiento» de una doble modernidad: la racionalista y totalitaria, que culminó en Marx y Nietzsche; y la católica y liberal, que culminó en Rosmini. El libro recorre la evolución del pensamiento del autor desde 1943 hasta 1978, en un profundo entrelazamiento de especulación e historia que lo convierte en un caso único en la reflexión filosófica contemporánea.
