Inhaltsangabe:Einleitung: Die vorliegende Arbeit ist aufgrund der Beobachtungen entstanden, die ich Rahmen meiner Tätigkeit in einer Werbeagentur machte. Mir fiel auf, dass die Agenturen verstärkt als externe Marketingspezialisten für Markenführung auftreten und ihre Kommunikation immer ausgeprägter auf Grundlage markenstrategischer Überlegungen verkaufen. Gleichzeitig ließ sich bei einigen Agenturen eine fehlende Konstanz in den Aussagen über das eigene Unternehmen feststellen. So stellte sich mir die Frage, ob Werbeagenturen, die ihren Kunden aufwendige Positionierungen verkaufen, auch sich selbst bewusst ein Image geben, das heißt, wie professionell sich Agenturen in Szene setzen und welches Image sie anstreben. Da jeder professionellen Markenführung eine Positionierung zu Grunde liegt wurde folgende Forschungsfrage entwickelt, die durch eine Inhaltsanalyse der medialen Selbstdarstellung beantwortet werden soll: Wie professionell positionieren sich ausgewählte deutsche Werbeagenturen auf eigenen Websites? Professionell ist als effizient und hilfreich bei der Erreichung der Ziele zu verstehen. Die Unternehmensziele Gewinnmaximierung und Qualitätssicherung können dann von der Website positiv unterstützt werden, wenn diese effizient und hilfreich dabei ist, Neukunden zu gewinnen, bestehende Kunden zu halten, oder neue Mitarbeiter zu einer Bewerbung zu motivieren. Die Selbstdarstellung kann dann positive Effekte für Gewinn und Wachstum realisieren, wenn ein signifikanter Unterschied zu den Selbstbildern der Konkurrenz deutlich wird, die angesprochenen Aspekte für potentielle Kunden relevant sind, und die Selbstdarstellung in sich konsistent und damit glaubhaft ist. Grundlage einer professionellen Positionierung ist darum die Einordnung einzelner Leistungen, Geschäftsfelder oder Unternehmen als Ganzes in einen Eigenschaftsraum, der sich an den Kundenwünschen orientiert. Im ersten Teil dieser Arbeit wird der theoretische Kontext erläutert, denn laut Wegener ist der Forschungsprozess immer geleitet durch die zu Grunde liegende Theorie. Deswegen ist eine Beschäftigung mit der Theorie nicht nur wichtig, sondern Grundvorrausetzung. Bereits seit einigen Jahren wird den Kommunen im Zuge von Dezentralisierungsdebatten im Bildungssystem eine höhere Problemlösekompetenz zugesprochen, als sie den Ländern attestiert wird. Die in diesem Kontext entstehenden Diskussionen zur Vergrößerung des derzeitigen Handlungsspielraums der Kommune sind daher aus dem aktuellen bildungspolitischen Diskurs kaum wegzudenken und schlagen sich in Nordrhein-Westfalen in der beinahe flächendeckenden Gründung der Regionalen Bildungsbüros nieder. Dieser Band vereint gleichermaßen theoretische und empirische Erkenntnisse zum Regionalen Bildungsbüro sowie Tipps und Hinweise für eine schulträgergestützte Schulentwicklung aus der Praxis und für die Praxis. Am Beispiel des Projektes 'Schulen im Team - Transferregion Dortmund' werden Handlungsfelder dieses noch jungen Akteurs exploriert, um so Hinweise darauf zu erhalten, inwieweit Schulentwicklung am Beispiel interschulischer Netzwerke kommunal gedacht werden kann. Der zweite Teil dieses Bandes bietet Handlungsoptionen für die Personen, die Netzwerke in ihrer Region für die Schulentwicklung nutzen möchten. Hier werden Good-Practice-Beispiele gegeben, die sich hinsichtlich einer schulträgergestützten Schulentwicklung für das Regionale Bildungsbüro Dortmund als hilfreich erwiesen haben. This book examines the global regulation of biodiversity politics through the UN UNConvention on Biological Diversity (CBD), the WTO and other international treaties. Using historical-materialist state and regulation theory, it assesses how the discourse and politics of sustainable development have contributed to the internationalisation of the state. The authors argue that sustainable development, far from being a fixed concept, is a conceptual terrain on which different and conflicting symbolisations of and solutions responses to of the ecological crisis struggle for hegemony. Furthermore, it shows that the international multilateral environmental organisations agreements are not at all a means to counteract neoliberal globalisation but, on the contrary, form an integral part of the ongoing transformation process. This open access volume examines experiences of contemporary Latvian migrants, thereby focusing on reasons for emigration, processes of integration in their host countries, and – in the case of return migration - re-integration in their home country. In the context of European migration, the book describes the case of Latvia, which is interesting due to the multiple waves of excessive emigration, continuously high migration potential among European Union member states, and diverse migrant characteristics. It provides a fascinating insight into the social and psychological aspects linked to migration in a comparative context.
