Die politischen und sozialen Umbruche der 90er Jahre brachten in Albanien und in Kosova auch eine Veranderung des literarisch-kulturellen Kontextes im albanischen Sprachraum mit sich. Und erst durch sie wurden fur die damals verbotenen Autoren, u.a. auch fur den Exilautor Martin Camaj, ein Zugang zur albanischen Literaturszene moglich. Der Schwerpunkt der Behandlung seines literarischen Schaffens, besonders seiner Prosa, liegt auf der Kernthematik, der Welt des Bergbewohners, die im malesor-Sein zum Ausdruck kommt. Die Analyse des gesamten Sprachmaterials basiert auf einem zweifach binaren System, dem Makrokosmos bzw. der albanischen Welt und dem Mikrokosmos, der Berglandschaft. Dieses System dient als Gerust der semantischen Analyse, die mit den Isotopien "landschaftlich", "wirtschaftlich", "historisch" und "kulturell" eingeleitet wird. Sie ermoglicht die Einbeziehung des soziokulturellen Gesichtspunkts und es zeigt sich, dass mal (Berg) als Schlusselwort in Camajs Prosawortschatz ein plastisches, komplexes, in Bewegung gestaltetes, in seiner sozial-wirtschaftlichen Anordnung charakterisiertes, im historischen Zusammenhang gekennzeichnetes, in seiner kulturellen Spezifik gedeutetes und ins Exil mitgenommenes Stuck Heimatland ist.
