Raging from Within: De-Escalating Angry People, offers a genuine and honest understanding of what is causing the increase of the rage we are seeing. The Doors of Anger offers a way to look at the accumulation of anger that continually builds. Truncated Grief offers an understanding of that which is least understood and ultimately leads to some of the most intense rage. This is a type of unspoken, unresolved grief, that revolves around grieving those who are gone from us, but who are not dead. The Analysis to Avert Disaster is a tool to evaluate the reality of what is known and what is missing, exploring a person's life (family, peers, school, mental health, trauma, religion, social media, and community); warning signs, threat assessment and lack of reality to get the most complete understanding to best avert a disaster. Susan has used these tools and strategies in her work averting school shootings, assaults, domestic violence, homicides, and in a multitude of other cases. "By learning how to understand and address anger and rage, we can now be a ladder of hope to those around us and the instrument (or conduit) of change."

Now they’re hiding out in an abandoned house in Vancouver with a ragtag group of fellow teen survivors, trying to figure out their next move. Aries is trying to lead, but it’s hard to be a leader when there are no easy answers and every move feels wrong. Clementine is desperate to find her brother Heath, but it’s impossible to know where he’d be, assuming he’s alive. The Zemstvo In Russia written by Terence Emmons and has been published by Cambridge University Press this book supported file pdf, txt, epub, kindle and other format this book has been release on 1982-04-30 with History categories.

The essays in this 1982 volume result from a conference held at Stanford University in 1978, assembled to assess the overall character and significance of the prerevolutionary Russian experiment with the principle and practice of local self-government, the zemstvo, over half of its existence, 1864-1918. The unifying theme of the collection is the rejection of the liberal myth of the zemstvo as an instrument of social integration. The chapters focus on the substantive elements of conflict and tension that existed within the zemstvos, especially between the institutions' two principal groups: the landed gentry, who dominated the zemstvo, and the peasants, who constituted the majority of the population and were intended to the beneficiaries of most of the economic and cultural programs, yet had little part in their formation. Based on the contributors' extensive knowledge of their respective subjects, many of them provide information from previously unpublished materials in Soviet and American archives.

Hospitality And Treachery In Western Literature written by James A. W. Heffernan and has been published by Yale University Press this book supported file pdf, txt, epub, kindle and other format this book has been release on 2014-05-28 with Literary Criticism categories.

In works of Western literature ranging from Homer’s Odyssey to Albee’s Who’s Afraid of Virginia Woolf? the giving and taking of hospitality is sometimes pleasurable, but more often perilous. Heffernan traces this leitmotiv through the history of our greatest writings, including Christ’s Last Supper, Macbeth’s murder of his royal guest, and Camus’s short story on French colonialism in Arab Algeria. By means of such examples and many more, this book considers what literary hosts, hostesses, and guests do to as well as for each other. In doing so, it shows how often treachery rends the fabric of trust that hospitality weaves.
