Studienarbeit aus dem Jahr 2013 im Fachbereich Soziale Arbeit / Sozialarbeit, Fachhochschule Erfurt, Veranstaltung: Einführung in die Geschichte der Sozialen Arbeit, Sprache: Deutsch, Abstract: Diese Hausarbeit beschäftigt sich mit dem System der Jugendhilfe und den Heimen der DDR. Es soll an das erlittene Unrecht der Kinder, Jugendlichen und deren Familien erinnert werden, deren Menschenrechte mit Füßen getreten wurden. Die Hausarbeit beschäftigt sich mit einem dunklen Teil der DDR-Sozialgeschichte, die schon fast wieder in Vergessenheit geraten ist. Heutzutage wird in Ostalgie-Fernsehshows die Geschichte der DDR verklärt und schön geredet bzw. werden wieder Stimmen laut, die eine härtere und schärfere Bestrafung von Jugendlichen fordern. Die Schicksale der Einzelnen werden dabei völlig außer Acht gelassen und sind nicht im öffentlichen Bewusstsein vorhanden. Erst seit 2009 beschäftigt sich ein Runder Tisch des Deutschen Bundestages mit den Menschenrechtsverletzungen in konfessionellen und staatlichen Heimen, das verdrängte Schicksal wird nun aufgearbeitet. Diese Hausarbeit soll ein kleiner Beitrag zur Aufarbeitung über die Jugendhilfe in der DDR sein und soll gegen das Vergessen erinnern.

Mit Gründung der beiden deutschen Staaten wurde die Gleichberechtigung von Mann und Frau verfassungsmäßig festgeschrieben. Diese Studie untersucht anhand von sechs in der DDR und der Bundesrepublik Deutschland in der Zeit von 1949 bis 1958 entstandenen Spielfilmen, inwieweit das Medium Film dazu beigetragen hat, die gleichberechtigte Stellung der Frau in der ost- und westdeutschen Gesellschaft voranzutreiben. Dabei wird die Darstellung frauenspezifischer sozialer Probleme mit den tatsächlichen Lebensbedingungen von Frauen in diesem Zeitraum konfrontiert. Es zeigt sich, daß die sozialen Problemlagen von Frauen und ihre Gleichberechtigung für obrigkeitliche Interessen instrumentalisiert oder aber negiert wurden.

The final section provides an analysis of the national replies to a questionnaire related to the treatment of juvenile offenders.
