My eyes wide open I see everything in plain sight My eyes closed I see beyond the beaming spots of light I see what is to come and what once was now past I see the truth that lies beneath and finally at last I reach beyond the human form I soar above the clouds. Finally my eyes open and closed are forever unchained and free What I leave behind in the other worlds realm are the many reflections of me.

Subsequently she received a degree in French teaching from the University of Saigon and became a lycee teacher and administrator. In 1975, she left on one of the last military planes accompanied by her four children and entered a new life as a refugee in the U.S. She ultimately resettled in Western Massachusetts. She then went back to school and obtained her Ph.D. in Francophone literature. After seeing to her children's education she began her academic career and started to teach French in the Five College academic community. She has fulfilled the "American dream" as have her children. In the process she has rediscovered her cultural roots and has helped others to negotiate the same path.

Fourth Dimension written by Marcus Cureton and has been published by iUniverse this book supported file pdf, txt, epub, kindle and other format this book has been release on 2012-10 with Poetry categories.

Growing up on the south side of Chicago, Marcus "Thareal Kidd" Cureton chose the wrong crowds to hang with. Selling drugs to keep up with the "in-crowd," he knew that it wouldn't last long; but he continued to live that type of lifestyle because it was normal where he came from. When he was only nine, Marcus found his gift and passion for writing and making his own comic books to entertain his friends. He also embraced poetry as a way to express himself freely. At the age of eighteen, after dropping out of high school, he went to prison for attempted murder and first-degree murder for his part in a drug deal gone bad. Feeling the pain and remorse as they began to take a toll on him, Marcus found his gift once again. His writing provided a way for him to escape the reality of his situation. He wrote of his heartaches and pains; his ups and downs; and his desire to get back into the outside world to help build stronger youth. Fourth Dimension is a poetic explosion of heartfelt emotions as the tears of reality strike. You can feel the author's emotion in each and every word of his poetry.
