Not illustrated.1775 Excerpt: ... the attendance on the King the day before on the case of Sir Francis Goodwin; whert the King had charged them, that;' -' firsts - the course already taken should be truly -' reported; secondly, that they should de"bate and resolve amongst themselves; "thirdly, that they should admit of a con"ference with. the Judges; and fourthly, "that "they should make report of all the . Proceedings unto the Council." i The 30th of March, upon this matter being fully debated in the Houses it was resolved, " that the reasons of their precedent 4- resolution touching the return, admittance, M and retaining of Sir Francis Goodwin, as a "Member of that House, should be set down "in writing;" and a Committee was appointed for that purpose. The 3d os April-f-, the Committee presented to the House the said reasons drawn Journal, p. 160.
