A lamp was lit when Adam rose from the clay, took a golden apple into his trembling hand and gazed into a forbidden world he had not before seen. The Gods allotted him six days of creation and no more. Each day is a thousand years, each year a verse in the Torah, each verse a whisper of our fallen fate. The leaves of this fearful book lie on two sides of an ancient grove. An evil serpent drapes the flowing coils of her intoxicating beauty from the tangled branches of the Tree of Knowledge and seduces all those who are destined to die. A flaming sword guards the ten twisted limbs of the tall Tree of Life from desperate trespassers seeking to climb this mysterious ladder to the Gods so that they might live another year beyond the six thousand steps to the grave. In this divided garden, separated by an endless abyss, two giants were bred, angry twins slashing their arms and kicking their feet to tear at each other in their mother's weary womb. These would father warring tribes who will summons a great storm at the end of time to flood the world with blood and wet the serpent's thirsty tongue with the scaly souls of her children. The sanguine sea will wash away the empty shells and deposit them into the dark waters of chaos from whence they fell on the first and brightest day. But all of this is but a bad dream from which we must arise and waking open our eyes to see that the Gods Who Hate Us are but an illusion cut from a tattered veil of lies that loses its form and substance in the light of reason and truth. They only have power over us when they are hidden and we are afraid or asleep. This book lifts the rocks under which they hide and lets you see how small, hateful and absurd these writhing worms which dry up in the sunlight truly are.

In America you are the king or the queen, we are blessed with these abilities because of our Constitution and our Bill of Rights the day has already came and went when these blessings were laid to the waste side, because of fear . . . . specific to the events of September 11th 2001, out of fear the laws that we hold dear and enables us “We the People” of the United States of America to be our kings and queens have been set aside, so the constitution and the Bill of Rights represent what we lost on that horrible day and the weeks that followed. The crown represents what “we the people lost that day.” Our Rights as American’s our Constitution our Charter, our right to be Kings and Queens.

Honesty. Humility. The purpose and future of the church. Useful and not useful parts of the Bible. A doctrine of salvation that includes mosquitoes. These are some of the topics dealt with in this controversial book. Written for those who still have hope for the church as well as those who don't, Wes Bergen's aim is to cast a vision of the church beyond divine fire insurance. Bergen's contention is that salvation is something that either happens here and now, on this earth, or not at all. Salvation is something that happens to bodies. More importantly, salvation is something that either will happen on this earth or we risk making the world uninhabitable by human beings. Souls are irrelevant when the air is dirty, the water is undrinkable, and there isn't enough to eat. These are the things that the Bible really cares about and form the building blocks for the salvation that God offers. This is also why this book is not about heaven. The Bible is not a manual for getting to heaven. The Bible cares very little about heaven and neither should you. Salvation is about what happens to bodies on Tuesday rather than what we do Sunday morning or what happens to souls after the body dies. Forget about heaven. Either you trust in God or you don't. Now get to work helping salvation happen.

Alien DNA spawned humans, also an alien species on Earth. The gods are extra-terrestrials; in their image we are created. Humanoids were designed to serve as slave labour, given a short life span, and a severely stunted genetic code. We carry within encoded traits of violence, greed, rivalry, amongst others. There will always be wars, as we respond to a programmed pattern of behaviour, and cannot change. The ET gods regarded humans as a failed experiment, after trying to uplift their creation to no avail. The island of Atlantis gave rise to homo sapiens sapiens, and educated eartlings were in turn sent out to the colonies, in order to spread knowlege. Atlantis, up to its final destruction, is the epicenter of this record of events. The conflicts and forces causing its final demise are as relevant today as then. The story is narrated by the Et god Michael. It encompasses his love for Ondina, an earthling, and their children. It is a love story like any other, the story of a family, like any other family. Michael's friendship with Ondina's brother Rogan, and other humans, is part of his journey in understanding that deep down we are all the same.

The Book Of Job written by Gilbert Keith Chesterton and has been published by Jazzybee Verlag this book supported file pdf, txt, epub, kindle and other format this book has been release on with Religion categories.

The Book of Job is among the other Old Testament Books both a philosophical riddle and a historical riddle. Controversy has long raged about which parts of this epic belong to its original scheme and which are interpolations of considerably later date. The doctors disagree, as it is the business of doctors to do; but upon the whole the trend of investigation has always been in the direction of maintaining that the parts interpolated, if any, were the prose prologue and epilogue and possibly the speech of the young man who comes in with an apology at the end. This work contains Chesterton's assumptions and thoughts on this mysterious scripture.

This is a collective study, in nine new essays, of the close connection between theology and cosmology in Stoic philosophy. The Stoic god is best described as the single active physical principle that governs the whole cosmos. The first part of the book covers three essential topics in Stoic theology: the active and demiurgical character of god, his corporeal nature and irreducibility to matter, and fate as the network of causes through which god acts upon the cosmos. The second part turns to Stoic cosmology, and how it relates to other cosmologies of the time. The third part examines the ethical and religious consequences of the Stoic theories of god and cosmos.

An instant bestseller when first published in 1929—biographies of twelve bold individuals from history and what they did to separate themselves from the pack. In his trademark journalist style, author William Bolitho details the lives of twelve great adventurers—Alexander the Great, Casanova, Christopher Columbus, Mahomet, Lola Montez, Cagliostro (and Seraphina), Charles XII of Sweden, Napoleon I, Lucius Sergius Catiline, Napoleon III, Isadora Duncan, and Woodrow Wilson. Bolitho elucidates both the struggles and successes that made these figures so iconic, and demonstrates how they all battled convention and conformity to achieve enduring fame and notoriety. “We are born adventurers,” Bolitho writes, “and the love of adventures never leaves us till we are very old; old, timid men, in whose interest it is that adventure should quite die out. This is why all the poets are on one side, and all the laws on the other; for laws are made by, and usually for, old men.” Though his essays are nearly one hundred years old, they encompass the timeless values of perseverance, bravery, and strength of spirit that have proven to resonate with the pioneers and thought leaders of today. “It’s really quite good.” —Elon Musk “Twelve Against the Gods provides an interesting perspective on what drove and impeded this group of adventurers . . . A good read for anyone who’s interested in history or looking to find some motivation to switch things up and break the rules.” —Áine Cain, Business Insider “I think Twelve Against the Gods is also very appropriate for this day and age. We need adventurers, and there still are a lot of adventurers.” —China Ryall, daughter of William Bolitho
