Quando il bisogno di condividere e di esprimersi diventa insostenibile, la scrittura può essere l’unica forma di sfogo. Qualcosa in grado di unire persone diverse, in posti diversi e in momenti diversi. Quando poi la scrittura riesce a trasmettere esperienze di vita e sentimenti, allora si fa veicolo tra i cuori. Rosanna Affronte nata a Bovalino (RC) e residente a Messina, laureata in biologia, insegnante di scuola media. Dal 2007 inizia a scrivere brevi racconti e poesie e a collaborare con riviste letterarie (Peloro2000, Rinascita Bizantina). Nel 2009 pubblica la sua Opera Prima: ‘’Un angelo clochard’’ racconti sull’universo femminile e poesie (Armando Siciliano Editore). Nel 2012 pubblica una raccolta di poesie: ‘’La luna di Meg’’ (Aletti Editore). Nel 2015 un’altra silloge dal titolo ‘’La casa dipinta di rosa ’’ (Armando Siciliano Editore). Nel 2016 ‘’L’Amore oltre ogni confine’’ Meditazioni e Poesie, scritto insieme ad un medico, il Dott. Francesco Certo, per un progetto di beneficenza. I suoi racconti e poesie si trovano in diverse antologie. Dal 2009 inizia a partecipare ai concorsi letterari, ottenendo numerosi premi e riconoscimenti anche all’estero, a Montecarlo nel 2012 con la poesia: ‘’Quello strano malessere’’. Il 22 giugno 2014 a Pedara (CT) viene insignita del riconoscimento ‘’Premio Donna Siciliana 2014’’, conferito alle donne siciliane che si sono distinte nei vari settori: arte, musica, professioni ecc. ‘’Scrivo perché vivo nel silenzio che non ha parole’’ come si legge in un suo componimento poetico. In effetti, poco loquace, vive immersa nella magia di silenzi ovattati che le danno la possibilità di un ascolto empatico. A darle l’input per scrivere è stato il dolore: le traversie interiori, le ferite dell’animo, le soste forzate, le emozioni lacerate, le sofferenze che le appartengono e quelle che appartengono agli altri. Riuscire ad entrare negli anfratti di un’interiorità ferita, percorrerla, captando i dettagli, e riversare il tutto su un foglio di carta: inquietudine, angoscia, malinconia, linguaggi che decodifica in versi o in prosa, emozioni che riflettono il suo essere donna, la fragilità che diventa spesso forza dei sentimenti.

Italian critic Francesco Orlando explores Western literature’s obsession with outmoded and nonfunctional objects (ruins, obsolete machinery, broken things, trash, etc.). Combining the insights of psychoanalysis and literary-political history, Orlando traces this obsession to a turning point in history, at the end of eighteenth-century industrialization, when the functional becomes the dominant value of Western culture. Roaming through every genre and much of the history of Western literature, the author identifies distinct categories into which obsolete images can be classified and provides myriad examples. The function of literature, he concludes, is to remind us of what we have lost and what we are losing as we rush toward the future.
