Understanding grammar and loading the essential words into your long-term memory is only half the battle.For a full-fledged ability to speak a foreign language, this is not enough.It takes a little more.SPEECH PATTERNSHow to be, when you know foreign words, but you cannot speak? In this situation, the only one way out is to drill the skill of spontaneous conversation with the help of speech patterns.Vocabulary and grammar are dead weight before you have transformed them into a conversation proficiency. It's like at a construction site. It does not matter to you that you have all the building materials on the construction site, you need a house that is ready and with keys.WHAT FOR PATTERNS?Speech patterns are sets of grammatical constructions that express one single thought. How is it going? If you do not know the language at the level of automatism, then, after hearing the phrase, you begin to think about what grammatical construction it refers to, that is, which of the templates you need to choose. If you chose a template, you start thinking about words and start loading words. Next, you begin to build the right grammatical construction, that is, the order of words, then start to change the form of words and finally you collect all this in a phrase and try to say.QUANTUM LEAP OF EFFICIENCYSpeech patterns help to dramatically increase the effectiveness of acquisition of any speech construction since they ensure isolation: at each moment, you are engaged in one thing. All other tasks should be removed. Isolation means that you spend 100% of the learning time on a single grammatical construction. INTENSITYAnd the other important component is intensity. Never in your life, you are able to use the same construction many times in a row in a conversation with a native speaker. With speech patterns, you drill the same construction several times in succession; as a result, you achieve a high degree of acquisition of a speech pattern.Thus, the effectiveness of mastering the skills of oral speech is many times higher. You will be able to work out a much larger number of phrases at the same time compared to the usual speech.SPEEDThe technology allows you to do the following. The first time you see a sentence, you spend a lot of time reproducing it. But then, when you went through the same constructions (and these constructions are already partially in your 'operative' memory, in part you already know how), the brain strains less, and the time is spent less.DIRECT SPEECHIf you master many fairly common constructions (speech patterns), then your brain will not simply transform speech from your native language to a foreign language, but will immediately directly formulate a thought in a foreign language. ON AUTOPILOTAll speech patterns are given in blocks of 10 - 20 items. Each block develops one grammatical construction. Patterns are selected in a special way so that each construction has passed the necessary time for its automation.THREE LAYERSFor greater efficiency, each model consists of three patterns, each of which uses an almost identical phrase, but with different words from the list of the corresponding collection of words.
