In der Tradition der Moskauer und Tartuer Schule der Semiotik modelliert Viktoriya Stukalenko Duša/Seele als semiotischen Text. Mit einem integrativen, komparatistischen Forschungsansatz analysiert sie kulturelle Zeichenprozesse, die den russischen Seelenbegriff geprägt haben, und verweist auf die prinzipielle Diskontinuität in der Bedeutungsentwicklung kultureller Konstanten.
