Muito se fala sobre felicidade. Todo ser humano vive em busca da felicidade. Todos nós queremos ser felizes. Mas o que a Bíblia diz sobre isso? Onde ou em que encontramos felicidade? O apóstolo Paulo diz em sua carta aos romanos que a vontade de Deus é boa, agradável e perfeita (Romanos 12:2). O salmista também diz: "Tenho grande alegria em fazer a tua vontade, ó meu Deus; a tua lei está no fundo do meu coração." Salmos 40:8 A verdadeira alegria é encontrada no centro da vontade de Deus. O centro da vontade de Deus para mim, durante muitos anos, foi a cidade de São Paulo, até que o Senhor me conduziu à uma mudança para o Paraná. Esta não foi uma mudança aleatória, mas intencional. Deus em sua sabedoria conduziu desta forma para que o propósito d ́Ele fosse cumprido em minha vida. Um dos meus maiores objetivos de vida é viver de acordo com aquilo que o Senhor designou para a mim. Não quero, no fim de meus dias, arrepender-me por ter deixado de fazer algo que o Senhor esperava que eu fizesse. Mas também não quero fazer aquilo que o Senhor não espera de mim. O que quero que você entenda é: uma vida plena é encontrada apenas em Deus, e no centro de sua vontade. Mas como chegar lá? Conhecendo o propósito pelo qual fomos chamados. A finalidade desta obra é te levar a compreender que o tempo que temos aqui na terra – o qual é curto demais – não vale a pena ser vivido senão para Deus. Uma vida sem propósito é uma vida vazia, e o que Deus tem para nós está longe de ser uma vida vazia. Ele tem uma vida abundante (João 10:10), mas isso só será encontrado se vivermos segundo o projeto de Deus para nós. Se você realmente deseja estar debaixo do propósito de Deus, precisará entender sobre algo chamado intencionalidade. Deus foi intencional ao enviar Moisés para libertar o seu povo que estava cativo no Egito. Deus foi intencional ao levantar Neemias para reconstruir os muros de Jerusalém. Deus foi intencional ao enviar Jesus à terra para morrer por nossos pecados. Jesus foi intencional ao desenvolver seus discípulos. Isso nos mostra não apenas um padrão, mas um modelo à ser seguido. O propósito de Deus para nós está sendo construído. E se queremos alcançá-lo, precisaremos ser intencionais todos os dias de nossa vida. A intencionalidade não permite que sua vida continue sendo a mesma. A intencionalidade gera movimento. A intencionalidade gera vida e intencionalidade te conduzirá para o propósito. Portanto, faça como o Ap. Paulo diz aos irmãos de Éfeso: "Portanto, sejam imitadores de Deus, como filhos amados, e vivam em amor, como também Cristo nos amou e se entregou por nós como oferta e sacrifício de aroma agradável a Deus." Efésios 5:1, 2 Por isso que esta não seja apenas mais uma leitura comum, mas que você mergulhe com intencionalidade nesta jornada de fé e descobrimento, para que você viva os melhores dias de sua vida e cumpra o propósito pelo qual foi chamado.

A significant contribution on the development and aftermath of post–World War II Concretism in Brazil Form and Feeling features a collection of essays by noted scholars exploring the sensorial, experience-based, and participatory practices pioneered in the 1950s by artists and poets such as Flávio de Carvalho, Ivan Serpa, Hélio Oiticica, Haroldo de Campos, Mary Vieira, Lygia Pape, Anna Maria Maiolino, Lygia Clark, Waly Salomão, and Emil Forman, among many others. Fourteen thought-provoking essays examine how many of their strategies constituted a pertinent critique of the country’s wide-ranging embrace of Eurocentric modernity while anticipating a number of practices prevalent among contemporary artists today—namely, the rise of art as social practice, the embrace of pedagogical concerns by artists, and relational aesthetics. The fourteen essays collected in this volume consider the ramifications of modernist abstraction in the second half of the twentieth century and contribute to a growing academic field in postwar Brazilian and Latin American art history. Contributions to this anthology examine the development of modernist ideas that flourished in Brazil during a controversial period interspersed by dictatorial regimes. The global aspect of Brazilian art is especially evident in these studies, presenting the relational complexity of their subjects as transcultural, transnational actors while simultaneously contributing to a growing, increasingly nuanced understanding of visual and material culture, performance, and criticism in Brazil. Form and Feeling continues the important process of re-analyzing the intersections of Concretism and Neo concretism, arguing for greater affinities between the primary and lesser-known cast of characters while equally redistributing the strict geographical divisions of São Paulo and Rio de Janeiro. Brazil is a rapidly emerging country. Brazilian theology, namely the Theology of Liberation, has become well known in the 1970s and 1980s. The politically active Base Ecclesial Communities and the progressive posture of the Roman Catholic Church contrasted with a steadily growing number of evangelicals, mostly aligned with the military regime but attractive precisely to the poor. After democratic transition in the mid-1980s, the context changed considerably. Democracy, growing religious pluralism and mobility, a vibrant civil society, the political ascension of the Worker's Party and growing wealth, albeit within a continuously wide social gap, are some of the elements that show the need of a new approach to theology. It must be a theology that is both critical and constructive, resisting and cooperative, a theology that is able to give orientation to the churches, valuing and encouraging their contribution in society while avoiding attempts of imposition. The Churches and Democracy in Brazil, the fruit of years of interdisciplinary study of the Brazilian context and its main churches and theology, makes its case for an ecumenically articulated public theology. It seeks inspiration mainly in Luther and Lutheran theology, emphasizing human dignity, freedom, trust, the disposition to serve, and the ability to endure the ambiguities of reality, as well as a fresh interpretation of the doctrine of the two regiments. These are the fundamental elements of what makes human beings full members of the body politic: citizenship, their right to have rights and to be able to effectively live them, together with their corresponding duties, in a move of growing political participation conscious of their religious motivation in view of the commonweal.
