Studienarbeit aus dem Jahr 2006 im Fachbereich BWL - Unternehmensethik, Wirtschaftsethik, Note: 1,7, Universität Lüneburg, Sprache: Deutsch, Abstract: Den aktuellen Erhebungen des Bundesverbandes Deutscher Unternehmensberater (BDU) zufolge waren im Jahr 2005 in Deutschland rund 68.500 Unternehmensberater in über 14.000 Beratungsgesellschaften tätig. Doch der einstige "Beratungsboom" der 90er ist vorbei. Erwirtschafteten die Consulting- Unternehmen Ende des vergangenen Jahrzehnts noch Wachstumsraten von weit über 10%, konnten sie 2005 nach einer Flaute von drei Jahren erstmalig wieder einen Zuwachs von 7,3% verzeichnen. Anstelle von Umsatzsteigerungen hagelt es nun insbesondere für die "Branchen- Riesen" zunehmend Kritik. Aus einer Befragung von Dietmar Fink, Professor für Unternehmensberatung an der FH Bonn- Sieg- Rhein und Geschäftsführer der deutschen Gesellschaft für Managementforschung (DGMF) geht eindeutig hervor, dass einigen kleinen spezialisierten Beratungsunternehmen auf dem jeweiligen Gebiet mehr Kompetenz und Umsetzungspotential zugesprochen wird als McKinsey, Berger & Co. Dies sind jedoch nur zwei der Kritikpunkte, die den großen Unternehmensberatungen explizit vorgeworfen werfen und Grundlage dieser Arbeit bilden. In den Medien werden verstärkt Fälle publik, in denen die Unternehmensberater zunehmend in Misskredit geraten. Die Skandale bei der Bundesagentur für Arbeit, der deutschen Bahn oder dem Armaturenhersteller Grohe sind nur einige Beispiele, die im Zusammenhang mit den Consulting- Riesen die Schlagzeilen gefüllt haben. Die gesamte Branche gerät immer mehr in Verruf- McKinsey schaffte es 2004 sogar zum Titel eines Dramas über die Misere des heutigen Kapitalismus. The heightened interest in and the rapid expansion of adult education has become a trend in a variety of environments. In The Organization and Planning of Adult Education Kowalski examines the issues created by providing a social service in diverse organizational settings and presents a format for initiating and developing adult education programs. Nothing affects the modern economy (and society) more than decisions made in the market place, especially, but not only, decisions made by consumers. Although it is not startling to suggest that decisions made in production are affected by choices consumers make, consumers have long been viewed, not only by academic economists, as individual, isolated rational actors that make or refrain from purchases purely on the basis of narrow financial considerations. Markets are not and never were morally neutral. Market relations have always had an often taken-for-granted moral underpinning. The moralization of the markets refers to the dissolution and replacement of the conventional moral underpinnings of market conduct, for example, in the music market, financial markets, and corporate governance. It further implies not only the heightened importance of new ethical precepts, but the significant change in the role of moral ideals in market behavior. These profound transformations of economic conduct are accompanied and co-determined by societal conflicts. The moralization of markets represents thus a new stage in the social evolution of markets. The book is divided into four parts, in which the twelve chapters, written by contributors from different social science disciplines, deal with the context of the moralization of the markets; the major social institutions; and present case studies that examine European and American attitudes and behavior towards tobacco and GMO; expansion of the private and ethics in business; and how workers respond to the new corporate norms.
