A new generation of drug-eluting stent has been proposed to address these issues. Resveratrol and quercetin represent a non-toxic alternative that can accelerate re-endothelialization and promote proper vascular healing. Both compounds can be applied to a drug-eluting stent and balloon platform for the coronary artery and peripheral artery disease markets. The purpose of this thesis is to analyze the commercial viability of a resveratrol and quercetin eluting stent and balloon.
